We booked a room at the Hotel Palazzo Zichy when we saw how high it's graded here but were sceptic – how could a 4 star hotel get such raving reviews to be rated constantly as #2 in the whole of Budapest?! Well, now we understand and confirm. Excellent location in a quiet street but very close to the main...

We just returned from 3 nights in Budapest with our 6 and 8 year olds. This hotel was perfect for us. The room was large enough for a King size bed and two roll aways, great tub/shower, free wifi, TV, large selection at breakfast, and free coffee, tea, and bottled water all day until 1700. The hotel bar opened at...

I thought this was a fine hotel, but I would probably not stay here again when in Budapest. Good things: the reception staff was helpful and nice, assisting with restaurant reservations and transit passes. The bar is nicely stocked and breakfast had a nice selection. A nice selection of newspapers. The neighborhood is nice, if a bit far from touristic...

Just finishing a couple night stay. Great place, location, and staff. All looks like new and very clean. One of the better stays I have had and at a very reasonable price. Only issues are to expect problems finding it by car as the streets are one ways that have changed and the GPS sends you the wrong way. Also...

We stayed at the Hotel Palazzo Zichy from 24th to 28th Feb, to celebrate my Birthday a bowl of fruit on our arrival in the room was a lovely touch. It is a lovely hotel and as mentioned many times the staff are excellent and very helpful, the girls on reception helped us every morning on directions to get to...

The staff (beginning with Judit before arrival) are the most attentive and welcoming that I have ever had the pleasure to encounter. Nothing is too much trouble and they look after your every wish and need. The room was lovely with a comfy bed and fantastic shower room. The location is great, in a nice area just a few mins...

We were three lads spending a weekend in budapest, booked a double, the staff were fantastic and immediately offered us another bed while we waited at the bar! The room was modern, clean and luxurious! Fantastic location, safe neighbourhood- everything in budapest is walkable from here (although we used taxis which the friendly staff booked for us!) 24 hour reception,...

Well where do I start when reviewing and rating this hotel. It is without doubt one of the best hotels I've stayed in! From before we arrived to checking out we were treated extremely well!! We arranged a taxi transfer direct with the hotel, I would definitely recommend doing this as you know the price before you arrive and won't...

The hotel was beautiful, service amazing and clean, clean, clean!!! The spa area was brilliant, the gym slightly limited but you never use that on a holiday anyway! The staff were friendly and so helpful to us, the receptionist Catherine and barman Goran (I think that was his name) were particularly good. If I were to go to Budapest again...
