I have titled this review 5 star plus because quite honestly that is what I would like to rate it !! What a great boutique hotel, quite why it's is rated no2/332 hotels in Budapest, I don't know, because I really can't believe it can...More
This very modern hotel in an old palace lived up to it's reputation on tripadvisor. we had a junior suite which was reasonably spacious, well appointed and very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially in the breakfast room. This room was beautifully...More
The Palazzo Zichy is in downtown Budapest on the Pest side of the city, 19 km from Budapest Airport.
It is ideally situated near one of the underground lines, eight-minute’s walk from the pedestrian area, five-minute’s from the Hungarian National Museum and the Danube.

Before I wrote this review we had a discussion to see if there was anything negative to say. The only thing we could come up with was that the floors in the public areas are so shiny that they are a little disorientating. OK so...More
This hotel is reasonable and exceeded all our expectations. In fact we and another couple said if you wanted to open a boutique hotel you could use this as the example of how to do it. The front staff were outstanding and helped us book...More

Dear Sam S,
Thank you for your kind interest taken to our Hotel Palazzo Zichy and for contacting us via TripAdvisor with your inquiry.
Answering your question how to get to our hotel from the Népliget station, you should take the public transport. You will need to buy a one-way ticket/person which costs 350 HUF/ one ticket.
The Népliget station is on the route of the M3 metro. Follow the signs M3 and take the metro towards "Újpest-Központ". Get off the metro at: Kálvin tér (4 stops). From Kálvin tér it is an easy 5 minute walk into Baross street/Reviczky street and Krúdy street until the corner of Mária and Krúdy street.
I truly hope I could help you. If I can be at your further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our Congcierge Team (info @ hpz. hu) at any time.
We are looking forward to welcoming you soon!
Sincerely yours,
Zsófia

Dear "WarEagleCharlotte",
Thank you very much for your kind interest taken to our Hotel Palazzo Zichy and for contacting us with your inquiry.
As far as your question is concerned about the parking possibilities in our hotel, let me kindly inform you that although we do not have an own parking lot there is a safe and 24 hours monitored underground garage called the Pollack Garage in the neighborhood.
It is conveniently located just a couple of minutes’ drive from the hotel, and 5-6 minutes’ walk back from the garage to the hotel.
Apart from this, there is also a possibility to park your car on the street. On the street there is a pay per hour system, although the parking is free of charge every day from 8p.m. till 8a.m. The parking is also free of charge from Friday 8p.m. till Monday morning 8a.m.
Answering your second question, I would suggest you to spend at least four full days in our capital to have enough time to visit our must-see attractions and some museums or one of the world famous bath houses.
I hope I could help you and in case you may need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us at anytime at info @ hpz . hu.
I truly hope that we will have the pleasure of welcoming you at our Hotel Palazzo Zichy in June.
Sincerely yours,
Zsófia
