Opposite the hotel is a lift to access the Castle with Fortuna Street top class Hungarian restaurants. The view from up there is fantastic. They have garaging at the hotel. We stayed here as part of a British Airways package this month. Upon arrival we were happy to see that the hotel was in a beautiful area, so quiet and peaceful. We walked around the streets at night to go and see the castle and it was an incredibly romantic area. We will definately come back this time of year...

The food here is excellent and the restaurant is well used by locals, in fact on our second night they were turning people away. It also offers...

Just spent 6 days 5 nights in this small hotel (Oct.9-14 2016). It's located on the base of the Buda castle wall. The Buda side has the Buda Castle, Fisherman's Bastion, Mathias church, the Labyrinth underground close to the church. You will have a great view of the Parliament which is located across the river in the Pest side while...

Excellent location of this hotel was rewarded any shortcomings, which usually happen, in this case were not burdensome (air conditioning needs to be improved). Literally a few steps away from the hotel there is a Castle Hill with it's exciting old town.

Quiet, enjoyable tree-lined area to stay that is just outside the castle walls and close access to bus routes. Some small shops and restaurants 5 to 10 min walk from hotel. Hotel room was quiet and comfortable. Beds and bedding were decent. Nice restaurant with decent breakfast. Could improve some cleanliness.

Lovely location next to the castle with friendly, helpful staff. Very impressed with this hotel for the price as our room was large and clean. Staying in District I / Buda

Neighbourhood Profile
District I / Buda
The historical center to a city with a multifarious and intricate past, Buda has some of the most outstanding buildings in Europe and an enviable natural landscape with stunning views onto the Danube. Centered around the Royal Palace, it provides a glimpse into the golden years of the Austro-Hungarian empire and the lives led by the aristocracy at the time. Matthias Church, beside the palace, hosted many events attended by the royal family and was the chosen place for the coronation of Franz Josef, one of the Hungarian Habsburg kings. Having admired the palace and the church, a visit to Buda will be unforgettable by the stunning and memorable panorama over Pest offered by the seven towered Fishermen’s Bastion.
