I travelled with a friend and we both loved our stay at 11th Hour. The location was great, walking distance from most sights. The rooms themselves were very spacious. We paid for a 10 bed dorm but ended up in a 6 bed dorm with an adjoining private room. Our room also had a kitchen and full bathroom (including bath!)...

Very nice for a hostel. I shared a suite with people I knew and they cleaned it everyday. There were no fans or AC in the rooms, but the front desk lone out fans and other items to you if need be. It's in a prime location right near a metro stop, so getting around was really easy, but you...

After wandering around along fully booked hostels for quit a long time (it was the time of Sgizet festival) we finally found one: 11th Hour Cinema Hostel. Very kind, warm hearted staff, and a very relaxed atmosphere in here. Location is perfect, everything's nearby. The dorms are just like so many other hostel dorms but quit clean. We were more...

It was a great place, very warm and welcoming with the best staff. If you have the chance to meet Mike and Erick, you'll be in great hands. Free tea and coffee and the perfect place to meet other travelers. You definitely don't have to worry about the noise or social coldness of your typical party hostels .

The hostel is very nice, with a well equiped common room (free coffee and tea, great movie room) on a very good location (in the centre and close to all transports stops) for a cheap price. The atmosphere was great and it felt very personal, while the staff at the reception is international and speaks English perfectly, being always so...

Good hostel with a well equiped common room (free coffee and tea, great movie room) on a good location for a cheap price. We slept on a 4 bed dorm (no bunkbeds) with a linked 3p private room. It had its own kitchen, was clean and well maintened. Only complaint was the shower, which was one of the worst I...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
