The reception for this hostel is on the second floor and there is an elevator. It is located near the city central with access to buses. It is roomy with a lot of light. There are fabulous restaurants and souvenir shops everywhere. Each floor has a central room and four rooms with different numbers of beds in each room. Each...

Most people who are looking for a place to stay want to know about how much it cost, well this place is definitely a good price! Location is amazing, you're literally right next to a very popular cathedral. It's within walking distance to everything, to include local food places which by the way are amazing. Lastly I'll say this, the...

the good points first: great location. At a very affordable price. Clean. Very friendly. The place consists of two identical apartments on top of each other. One one the first floor, one on the second, ground floor being zero. Reception is on the first floor and really nice and helpful. There is a computer, and you can even print a...

The location is great, nice atmosphere and good value for money. I would definitely recommend it. Good all rounder but particularly fantastic for the lovely staff!

The Pros: Friendly and very helpful staff (with one exception - see below) who are always at the desk if you have any questions/concerns. Excellent location. Elevator to the hostel on the first floor. Safe atmosphere. The Cons: We stayed in a private room which seemed to have frozen in time at some point during the 60s. The decor wouldn't...

I stayed 3 nights with my son. We were in a room with 7 beds. It was a good stay. The staff is there 24 hours and there are very friendly and helpful. When we first arrived there was a cute young lady that must have spent 25 minutes giving us the low-down on everything about the city. She was...

The place is always clean and neat. Feeling very safe with leaving stuff behind in the hostel when you are out. The place is very central and so its very easy to get to anywhere. What's more is that the staff is so chatty, helpful and nice, especially, Layla. I'm so glad that I've spent my time in this hostel.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
