I visited the Soho Boutique last month with a friend and we stayed for 3 nights. I Found the hotel clean and the staff on reception very helpful and friendly. It was in a fairly central position. Take comfortable shoes as its great to walk around and see some of the fantastic Architecture. Night time it looks magical. It is...

Nice hotel. Nice location. Our Room size was very small it remained me. NY style hotel, but we are in Budapest so it shouldn't be that small. Shower had clear glass to the which was not cool, even with couples this is not something you want to have constantly. The hotel has one elevator. The halls are tiny as well....

We spent 3 nights in the Soho Butique Hotel. The only complaint is something that is mentioned on a couple of previous reviews. The room was too hot and the air conditioning blew out hot air. Opening the window and closing the radiator vavle solved that. The room was small as mentioned by the manager on his replies. This was...

We stayed for 4 nights as a couple in a double room. We found the size of the room and the hotel to be quite adequate for what we needed, which was a base to explore the city. Considering the cheap price we paid for the room, we were more than happy with our stay. A few positives that we...

This is a great hotel in a superb location. The desk staff are lovely and quickly fixed it when we didnt have fresh towels. The only downside to the room was the glass wall between the bedroom and bathroom, but I understand they will change this in the refurbishment. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you want to be...

First off, what a place. Excellent staff and always helpful, excellent service all in all. They will advise you on what you need to know and also arrange pick ups if required. The hotel is very clean, a bit tired in places such as the shower seals which could do with touching up. But in terms of cleanliness I was...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
