Detailed Reviews
One of the cheapest, yet one of the best campings we stayed at during our trip. Weirdly the only camping with picnic tables near the tents. A beautiful environment and very good and clean facilities. The toilets closest to our tent were closed though, so we had to go quite far. The only downsides are the stony surface and that the night silence was not respected (a bunch of loud children running all around).

This is mainly for the restaurant because it s not listed. Its most likely the best in town if you take price, quality of food, service and setting. The meat plate has a great value for price. The waiter is super nice. Setting : You re in the middle of a forest. I was so delighted i went twice !

That’s a calm , warm and fantastically placed camping.
Lot of space. Free places for kids to play. Good staff that is really helpful.
Facilities are ok. Maybe a little old the baths.
It has a kitchen area what’s really important of go by tent or campers.

+1
We booked a bungalow here last minute as the reviews seemed pretty good. Upon arriving and almost promptly leaving, I have to believe that some of these reviews are fake.
On arrival when given our key we were told to drive straight. We were literally driving round for about 15 minutes trying to find our bungalow, as there are no sign posts for these. Then we entered the bungalow... for 0.2 seconds I thought, 'hmmm, this is pretty cool.' Oh how I couldn't have been more wrong. The floor was covered in ants, there were huge spiders everywhere and also countless giant dead, ripped apart cockroaches everywhere. It actually looked like they had been partially eaten... so what animal bigger than a cockroach is residing in the bungalow eating them? Now I must say, being in a forest we expected a few insects, BUT, we have just travelled Asia for 8 months and we have never seen so many insects in one place, even when we stayed in the middle of the jungle Vietnam. We took photos of some of the insects (which I have uploaded on here) and went back to reception. We tried to show the male receptionist the photos and tried to explain that we couldn't possibly stay there. He became very rude, turned his face away and waved his hand as though to say go away. I said to him, 'don't be so rude, will we still he charged for the room?' He replied, 'maybe, maybe not, who knows?' I called Booking.com and they resolved the matter for me.
Also, I must add... this place is just an overgrown forest. No maintenance whatever must have happened here in a LONG time. I urge everybody to look elsewhere!

Truly depressing.
This felt like a Netflix series (Dark, Stranger Things etc) set in the 1950s Eastern Bloc. The staff looked like they were just desperate to escape in any way they could.
More practically, the shower block was clean (utilitarian) and the restaurant entertaining in an ironic way. Hence the 2*, rather than 1*.
If you’re visiting the nearby (incredible) caves at Postojna then overnight in their car park.

Poor for tourers. Facilities basic in low season, shop closes 17 September. Toilets adequate with luke warm showers. Chemical waste emptying points down 20 steps through washrooms! One water point and unmarked car park like pitches. Pity really, could easily be better.

We collected our key, went into the hut and the horror began. It was dark, very cold and filthy. The mattresses were stained with blood and other bodily fluids. The shower and toilet were disgusting, heavily stained and mouldy. There were crumbs on the table cloth with dead beetles. No facilities were open and were only informed of this upon arrival. When we returned to complain to reception we were greeted with "What do you expect". His manner was extremely rude and uncompromising.

We were very satisfied with this camping. You can make a reservation (for a camper) as we did but as the staff say it is not really necessary as there is a pitch available anytime and you can choose where to park your car.
Sanitary facilities were in a good condition and the restaurant on site is also a plus.
There is a cycling path both to Postojna cave and Predjama castle (but be prepared for some real ups and downs) - well, it´s better to get oriented by some good mobile application for the routes as not always they are signed well (especially the one from Predjama). Anyway, it was a nice bike trip for us leading us through nice Slovenian countryside.
If you have enough time during your stay, I would recommend arranging a tour to Pivka cave right from the camping (there are only 2 entrances per day). I haven´t done it myself but I assume that it is definitely much nicer experience than Postojna cave which is very very touristy.

We placed our tents on this very nice and peculiar camping for a few days. We had our own cozy spot, far away from the other tourists. It was quiet, cool and almost rain-protected. The wash- and toiletblocks were closeby, clean and provided of warm water and toilet paper. Free Wifi was available at the reception. You also find a small but good shop there.
Nice extra: a small outside swimming pool with relax-area.
If you want to visit the Karst-area with caves and you come by tent, this is a perfect hub. No campers annoying you, how cool is that!

We stayed here in our motorhome, we had a large peaceful pitch near the showers,.The showers were clean functional if a little dated, they look like a 1950 Russian hospital. .but dont be put off i thought the were charming. We didnt use the pool or restaurant. I would recommend here it is near to attractions and has its own caves.
