As Piran is a walled city with little vehicle access, the staff at Hotel Piran made it very easy for us by helping us through the process of unloading our car at the hotel and then organising our pickup from the parking area outside the city. The hotel is a little dated, but in

The location of Hotel Piran couldn’t be better. It’s right on the sea front, but very close to the heart of Piran’s Tartini Square. We parked in the undercover garage as you enter the town and took the free shuttle. Upon arrival we were greeted with a nice glass of Prosecco and

This is a great hotel, unfortunately it is also home to many tour buses so I had to give it an average rating. We timed most things (except breakfast) to miss the tour bus groups so the service was great. The front desk was very helpful with the car park and any room things we

For a 4 star hotel which during peak season is expensive I was unimpressed. Plus points are service and the balcony seas view. Downsides - no wifi in room! Doesn't reach the top floor which is madness considering we paid for a better room. Room has 1 plug socket available.

Where to park the car
Everybody, no matter which hotel, has to park their car in the parking garage at the edge of town and then there is a free shuttle that takes you to your hotel. So when you pull up initially, you drop your bags off at the hotel and then they'll direct you to the garage and you park there. The town itself is so small that you can easily walk around it and you only need your car if you're leaving the town.
