We were a group of students from Prague visiting Krakow. This hostel was rented completely for our group. Staff is very friendly and helpful, hostel is clean and neat. It is a good place, as it is only a few minutes to the city centre. I can only recommend this hostel for a visit in Krakow.

The hostel is near the main square so that's a pretty good thing. Rooms are big and okay, but at night it gets very hot and you can sleep without any covers. The bar and the kitchen are pretty cool, they have all this games and coffee and tea to drink for free which is pretty cool. You get free... More

Extremely disappointed with this hostel. The positive was the location which was close to the central area. That was it. We were happy to stay at a hostel with a bar however we did not expect the bar goers to have free reign to come into the hostel area. First we were unable to use the kitchen at all as... More

Be good to yourself and NEVER EVER stay at this place. First, I was alone in my shared room (the only guest sharing it with me was in Auschwitz) and after lock my room and go to the toilet for 5 minutes ALL MY MONEY WAS STOLEN FROM MY BAG, obvisouly from someone who has access to the rooms rather... A good hostel, with basic facilities. Clean, relaxed, and quite quiet. Beds are OK. Good value for money! Located in a quiet street near the old town (the main square is easily accessible from there) and the train station. However, it is quite far (25 min walk) from the Kazimierz Jewish quarter. There is a basic but sufficient breakfast served... More

Lovely hostel, we had a shared room with other travelers and we didn't have any problems. Staff is very kind and helpful (they do the washing for you!!). Very close to centre and simply a lovely stay, will come back!

Hostel Giraffe was my favorite out of three hostels we were staying in Krakow! Very cozy and clean, perfect location - just in between the old town and bus/train station. There was only one strange thing - through our window we could only seen a grey wall of other building.

Overall the hostel was good. The good things: The staff was nice. The couches and wifi were good. Great location. The bad things: The top bunk is to low and you cant set in the bed. The 12 man dorm just has 1 window that gets shut by the person sleeping next to it because they get cold. Then the room turns... More

This hostel is a short walk from the train station and about 20 minutes from the old town (even further from the Jewish quarter and castle). We paid £13 each for a double room which I think is quite cheap, especially as breakfast was included as well as a free shot in the hostel bar! The free breakfast consisted of... More
