Stayed in this hotel last year and really enjoyed the experience. As others have said, it is like stepping back in time. The location is fantastic, just accross from the train station (which links to the airport). It is also near enough the main shopping and tourist areas without being too near. Who want to be kept awake every night...

The Europejski was a delight! Taken by the Gov't in 1956, it was finally returned to the owners only in 1991 and is definitely NOT the cookie-cutter hotel so often found among chains today. It was like stepping back into another era -- brass stair railings, chandeliers, velvet-covered chairs, opulent (but inexpensive dining with a 10 percent discount for guests)...

Hotel in a style which was nice a century ago. In case you would like something different from the modern hotels and like an old wooden bed, it is a nice change. Location is ok for the old city, railwaystation, shopping mall.

Stayed for 5 nights, nice location, room was pretty much as stated in literature. Noted previous comments such as dated, lacklustre etc., but we found ours to be fine, room and en suite serviced daily to a good standard. Breakfast was of European variety with cold meats, cheeses, pastries and breads. Hot scrambled or fried eggs were offered by waitresses...

For many years we've stayed at the Europejski whenever we've flown into Krakow - which we do two or three times each year. But now we're feeling like old marrieds with seven year itch: we've grown comfortable with the hotel but suspect there are younger and better alternatives available. The downsides of the Europejski all came together on a recent...

I stayed here for 4 nights between 9 & 13th September 2012. This hotel is conveniently situated near the main train and bus staions and is a mere 5 minute walk to the old town and 10 minutes from the central square. The hotel is delightful and harks back to a bygone era. The rooms are comfortable and clean -...

Stayed here on the 14/09/12. Great location, very nice room. Large, comfortable, with old school furnishings. Wifi internet connection in the room. This was nice, as most hotels offer this although you turn up to find it is not wireless and you have to go beg a network cable from reception. For is 3 star rating I was surprised how...

This Hotel was booked because of the Trip Advisor reviews, and it far exceeded our expectations. The Hotel is about 120 years old, and is old fashioned, but in a wonderful way. The decor and furnishings are fabulous. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and like home from home. It is very centrally located, with every facility possible in close proximity....

Lovely hotel beside rail and bus station and Galeria Shopping Centre with 200 shops.Room was very large with two double beds and lots of room to spare Very helpful and friendly staff.Bathroom and rooms very clean. The only drawback was the lack of a lift (in spite of what Palek said in his review) The hotel is on two floors...

My second visit to The Europejski Hotel (first visited in 2010) and the room was exactly what I asked for - a quiet room overlooking the courtyard. However, I thought it was a little bland compared to the room I had last time, all the character had been modernised out! It was also smaller, with a smaller bathroom. The main...
