I'll start by saying the 'most' important sentence I look for and that is... 'I'd definitely stay there again' Having been to Krakow before we'd previously stayed in a larger hotel close to the main central squares 'Rynek Glowny'. The squares are only about 15-20 minutes meandering walk from Hotel Ester. However, this time we opted to stay in the... More

Hotel in jewish quarter, easy access to lots of bars and restaurants. Beside the Old Synagogue and twenty mins walk to main square. Taxis rank outside the door. Great little bar across the street, and spar supermarket around the corner. Hotel old fashioned but very clean, and warm. Bedrooms perfect with lots of hot water and fresh towels daily. Mini... Stayed here in November 2016 and it was great. It is in the Jewish Quarter which is a lovely area. It isn't modern but I like that because of the area it is in its perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had the breakfast there every morning which we enjoyed. We had dinner here a few times and... More

Great traditional polish hotel right in the heart of the Jewish quarter. Some lovely little bars & restaurants about. The main square is approx 30mims stroll and on the way sample the little pubs & cellar bars. The main square is very vibrant with very good selection of bars & restaurants. All in all a great city break. But if... More

Not really a 4 star hotel but clean rooms and friendly helpful staff. Terrific choice on breakfast buffet! Very good location, in Jewish quarter and midway between old town square and Ghetto/Schindler factory museum, we could walk everywhere.

I would not class the hotel as 4 stars. Nothing wrong with the staff or the rooms, but the hall way to the rooms was dark, poor lighting. The hotel was very brown and needs an uplift to brighten it up. Shame really as the location is good.

Well what can I say about this hotel! On a positive note it is in a lovely area. With several restaurants nearby. The staff work hard to ensure all areas are clean and tidy. To say it has been classified as a 4 star... Hymmm I would certainly disagree with that. The hotel is Old , tired and dark. we... More
