As I participate in a TC in Krakow we were placed in the Olimp Hostel. I think that the location is pretty good. (not too far from the Historical Center, just need to take a bus/ tram) The common kitchen is great, and you can cook yourself if you wish. We had breakfast every morning, and there were lots of...

I was obliged to stay in this hostel during my volunteering duties. - Toilets are shared between rooms. You know what that means... Less environmental pollution. - Toilets are not cleaned. Seriously, they are not. For ecology reasons. - Rooms are not cleaned or made up. For the same reasons. - Sheets are not changed. It's not a joke. They...

I stayed four nights here in July 2015, when the students were away and most of the rooms were taken by our Group. A friend dropped me off by car so parking is easy. I enjoyed a room on my own. Complete with kitchenette, which I did not use. It was both cheap, comfortable and so convenient. A bus into...

I was there with boyfriend and his brother and cousin last month. Nice accomodation with two rooms, kitchen and bathroom. Very good price, but transferring is complicated there. This hostel for young travelers is a good choice!

Who can beat 10 Euros per night? And you get a two-bed bedroom, a shared (with other two-bedroom) fully equipped kitchen plus shower with it. There is a cafeteria downstairs which serves cheap breakfast. Take a bus or the tram and you are downtown in no time. From here you can also easily do a nice walk to Kościuszko Mound,...

Stayed for 3 nights during a very big event taking place at and around the Olimp and The Klub. Had a room on the second floor in the building on the other side of the pharmacy. OK with comfortable beds, but since it was very hot during our stay we should have appreciated air condition. Slept with open windows and...

Having stayed at the Olimp recently we found the staff very accommodating, the rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable. The 'on site' Restaurant on the Ground Floor was limited menu but met out needs. There is the use of a secure small Conference room, with WiFi that could hold up 30 people opposite the Reception.

As a trainee at AGH, I stayed almost 3 month in Olimp (Tanie) Hostel at three different floors (3, 6, and 7). Price: 1200 pln/month for a single room with shared "kitchen" and bathroom. Kitchen is not equippet and therefore not usable. Bathroom is ok, but not really clean. Cleaning service included, but useless (appear around once a month and...

More of a hotel than a hostel, OLIMP surpassed my expectations and then some. My only gripe would be the slightly less-than-central location, but this is nitpicking and taxis are so cheap in Poland it doesn't make a difference anyway. Reception was always polite and helpful, and always booked us taxis when asked to do so. Rooms were (like everywhere...

I had to visit Krakow for a conference earlier in August and was booked to stay at Olimp hostel. The room was clean and tidy, toilets were nice and clean as well. The location of the hostel is absolutely brilliant; close to the city center with bus and trams stops close-by. There is also a small shopping center at walking...

“When I was there, the rooms on the upper floors had an annoying whining noise coming from an unknown device in the walls. So I would definitely suggest getting rooms on the lower floors where no such noise exists.”
