Excellent location for access to the old town. We made good use of the restaurant for our evening meals as well as breakfast. The food was excellent and good value for money. The staff were friendly and attentive especially Patricia in the restaurant who made some excellent recommendations for drinks and places to visit as well as running up and...

It wans't a bad experience, but it had a few things that I usually value more. One of them was the breakfast, I felt it was missing some more international "dishes", although it did have I believe some ordering capabilities which I didn't explore. The second thing which bothered me, was that I had room 101, right next to the...

Great hotel in an old but entirely renovated building. Very spacious, clean and nicely decorated rooms. Spacious and comfortable bathroom. Prefect location - near old town, beautiful motlava river promenade just around the corner. The hotel itself faces a soon-to-be-open museum of the world war 2. I was slightly disappointed with a restaurant - quality of food on an average...

We stayed here for New Year, the hotel was spotless and the room a perfect size for a couple. The exterior of the hotel is traditional, very modern inside. Two minutes walk from to Motlawa River which is beautiful. Reception staff very helpful and friendly, we were very late checking out and it was no problem at all.

Nice hotel, nice room, lovely staff. Overall temperature in the room was too hot, the thermostat made no difference. As a single female staying here, I was a bit wary walking back as it's very dark but that's not a reflection on the hotel. Yes I would stay here again

This was a positive surprise. I had to book separate to my friends as the hotel they're staying at was fully booked. I jumped on the first Hotell in the general area som online site recommend. I had looked at the picture but was not than positive surprised as I checked in to the hotel. The receptionist was quick and...

Great quiet location just around the corner from the main riverside and within easy walking distance to most sights and restaurants without the crowds.. Comfortable clean and well renovated. Good breakfast in the cellar restaurant. Helpful and professional staff. Would recommend this hotel for good value for money.

Very nice and modern new hotel close to old town centrum. We got a spacious and very nice room with the king size bed. Room was very clean. Breakfast was very good as well as service. Only minus was the placement of tv on the side wall viewed from the bed.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The location of Grand Cru Hotel, in the antique Old Town, on Rycerska Street, allows to live to the full the unique atmosphere of Gdansk. Only a few steps divide our hotel from Motlawa river and finest monuments of the city, such as St. Mary's Church, the Crane, Neptune’s Fountain, Artus Court or Uphagen House. An evening walk along the Long Bridge and the alleys over which rise the fascinating pearls of architecture, ended with a dinner and a glass of excellent wine in Grand Cru Restaurant, will be a great accomplishment of each day spent in the Tri-city. ... more   less

“The interior of the hotel, not on the first floor is safer. No room is quiet because walls are paper thin. Poor AC everywhere.”
