Very nice hotel, with a lot of facilities. Very professional and friendly English speaking staff. Very clean room, daily room service. Free parking. Warm rooms, very nice breakfast in a comfortable environment in very convenient timings (07:00 - 10:00). Close to town centre, very nice view.

Had a night in Gdansk before heading onto our main holiday so chose the hotel amber. A little way from the old town but fine if you don't mind the walk. We found it easy enough and the maps in reception are helpful. Room was clean and had everything we needed. There is smoking in the hotel and we could...

Clean room with three single beds. There was no kettle in the room though, although there was bottled water. Apparently it depends which room you get as to whether you have a kettle or not. Didn't use restaurant or other facilities. Friendly staff. Half hour walk into Gdansk.

Really nice hotel. Staff are really nice and friendly rooms are nice and clean very comfy. Breakfast was really good with lots of choice. Breakfast staff very attentive. Bit of a walk but you can get a bus or a taxi. Or take the 15 min walk after a nice meal out

We visited while on a roadtrip in europe, so the great parking facilities was the first thing we met. Further the staff was friendly and helpful upon check-in and navigating the small distance to Old Town which was an amazing experience. Based on the price the room was wonderful, with clean and modern bathroom and comfortable bed. All in all:...

Have recently returned from a four night stay at the Amber which was most enjoyable. The Hotel is situated about a 30 minute walk from Gdansk Old Town but a frequent Bus Service runs from the Hotel to the Old Town and there is also a Taxi Rank. All the Staff at the Hotel were charming and helpful , rooms...

Amber Hotel is small hotel approx 30 mins walk from Gdansk, or a 10 min taxi ride (approx 16 zoltys .. £3/4), but that's part of its charm its away from the noise of the city centre. On arrival get 210 bus from airport (3 zoltys each from ticket machine) but make sure it's the one that goes to Powstancow...

This hotel offered far more comfort than can be expected by a 3-star rate and the pricing. The service was excellent, the breakfast buffet a real feast, and the rooms very richly equipped, clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were high-class feeling. The double bed was quite soft but we had a good nights sleep nonetheless. You can park right in...

It was not my first time in this hotel, and I think not last. Clean and quiet room, delicious breakfast. Friendly staff. If you want visit city centre, it takes 35 minutes walk, or 10 minutes by car. Nearest shop is 350 metres walk.

We stayed here 4 nights 2 years ago. We've been back to Gdansk several times since then, and chose to stay at other hotels. This is mainly because of location, you have to take a bus/taxi to everywhere from hotel amber. Another thing worth mentioning, is the noise. On the night before of our early flight departure there Was a...

“We had one minor complaint: there was a rather annoying noise coming from a ventilation channel. Luckily the system was switched off between 22:00 and 07:00. But if you value quiet also during the day, you should probably avoid room 316.”

“Hotel is on the hill in quite city part, so I guess there is not big difference which room to choose, just maybe with city side it is possible to see city panorama, but I am not sure, as we took yard side view (to see the car in parking).”
