location of the hotel is excellent right on the edge of the old town less than 5 mins walk into the centre. the hotel itself is clean, the rooms are comfy with central heating and also aircon, the breakfast is typical continental style but a good variation on offer, the downside of the hotel is that there are no lifts and if like us were on the top floor it would be difficult for anyone with walking difficulties, also reception is not manned 24 hours so if arriving late you have to ring a number for the night porter who will give you your keys and who was not at all friendly when we arrived. having said all that if you want a hotel close to the old town which is clean an comfy this is worth a stay.

Friendly, courteous and helpful staff. Very convenient central location, plenty to see and do within walking distance. A good balance of eating, drinking, sightseeing and tourism. Continental breakfast has variety and will satisfy the biggest appitite. Rooms are clean. So, if you are searching for clean, comfortable and affordable accommodation, close to the busy tourist area, look no further. This is great value for money.

This lovely hotel was a great find and located just around the corner from the main square. Gdansk old town is quite compact and the place was just less that 2 mins from the shops, cafes, the canal and the central square. Our room was not in the main building, but just around the corner. We were shown to our room by the very lovely and freindly lady who worked there. The room was clean, large and very comfortable. One of the great things was that it was so quiet at night, so really got some good sleep during the night. Breakfast was included, which consisted of a continental breakfast of cereals, cold meats and lots more....it was delicious! Really would recommend a stay here and plan to go back myself as the place was really good value, had a great loaction and most importantly, the staff were just great!

I made a reservation for Hotel Parnas but received a room located about half a block from the hotel. There is no sign on the somewhat gloomy entrance to the building. For breakfast or for the reception you have to walk to the hotel. The room had the basic equipment but it was sufficient. The location in the old city is very convenient.

Its not a hotel in the usual sence as your led down a side st to the rooms well away from the small part time reception but what a surprise you will have for we had a mini apartment for four with four single bed air conditioning big airy rooms clean sheets and new bathrooms with a table and chair for four in the expansive lobby. There was no safe or kettle nor wi fi but the breakfast was modest and filling staff were excepionaly friendly and its just a hop to the green gate (old town)

In fact ,its apartment with some amenities of hotel. Great Old town position ,good (but very different rooms ) . Cons: Reception is NOT 24h ,You must ring or call mobile. Minimalistic breakfast (served by one lady) ,and just 14 seats in breakfast room - if youre unlucky ,please wait and wait..Car parking also problematic ,because theres no fast stop possibility for checkin/checkout .Just analog, low quality TV .

So our setup here was a bit unorthodox. We actually stayed in rooms that were about a half block around the corner from the hotel. We stayed there for two night, three days. One negative was that the room on occasion had a really bad smell to it. I think it came from the canal right in front of the room. Otherwise this was a very nice room. Large windows let in great amounts of sunlight. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Beds were also comfortable. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is very convenient to Old Town. They also have parking on site so we did not need to park our motorcycles on the street. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again. It was just a little difficult trying to figure out how to find the hotel manager/office when we arrived but we worked it out.

We were receieved in a very friendly manner. We could change the room because we were not able to climb stairs. However, after this we never saw the staff. The breakfast was not good. The room was clean, but the pillows were miserable.
