As warned by other reviewers - the outside appearance isn't great, but the location is good, and there are lots of places to eat nearby - try Da Nico for a pricy but very good Italian, or Orange Moon for reasonably priced Thai. We were on floor 6, right by the breakfast room (the food choice and quantity were excellent)... More

As other reviwers have said teriffic location, just 5 mins walk from (nearly) all important landmarks etc. Clean hotel showers hot n powerful. Breakfast buffet serve yourself, eat and drink as much as you want. If you like a window with your room avoid rooms 1-3. Staff friendly and cheerful. Ok the outside of the hotel lokks grim, but your... More

I stayed at the Residence Bene with my mother during a trip around Europe over the summer. We were a little skeptical when the taxi pulled up and we saw the outside. But as the title says, the inside and the location are great for the price. It is located about a 5 minute walk from the square and tons... More

We didn't know what to expect at the Residence Bene, having never stayed in an Aparthotel before. The rather unimpressive exterior did not make us feel any better, but once we were shown up to our apartment, we loved it! There is a lift, so no problems with luggage and stairs. Once inside our own main door to the apartment,... More

The hotel has an excellent location. It is three minutes of the Square and, around the hotel, there are shopping center, subway, good restaurants and other stores. The hotel's entrance doesn't attract us for the appearance however inside, the hotel is well care, has free internet in computers in the reception, elevator and etc. The rooms are wide and comfortable,... Convenient to everything. Friendly staff. Very substantial breakfast in an attractive room on the 6th floor. Has lift for luggage or two people. Hotel being upgraded throughout. We had a triple on the first floor above the ground level on the street side, but only booked and paid for a double. It was quiet enough at night with the double... More

Very good price, great location ( Old Town), clean room, friendly stuff, tasty breakfast, free internet BUT horribly stinking bathroom (although clean). Overall - if you look for a nice place to sleep - go for it. Perfect for a bunch of friends, or a couple. I wouldnt reccomend it for families with small kids.

I am a single male in my late 20s. Overall, I was impressed with the Residence Bene. Everyone at the front desk was friendly, helpful and spoke at least some English. I had no problem connecting to their wifi and I appreciated the breakfast in the morning. There is a supermarket just down the street, I had a private bathroom... More

Residence Bene isn't fancy, but it offered everything that we needed in terms of lodging on our stay in Prague. The staff was extremely helpful and answered most of our questions about getting around and places we wanted to visit in Prague. This hotel is within a 15 minute walk of Old Town Square and is on a street with... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
