I have just returned home today after a brilliant weekend in Prague, staying at the Wenceslas Square Hotel. The staff were fantastic and courteous throughout my break, a special mention to the concierge who helped with our luggage on arrival and escorted us to the roof top terrace, he was a gentleman. Our room was very clean and fresh and...

Booked through travel zoo and not had any issues previously. Arrived Sunday evening to find the man on reception uninterested in anything. He gave us our key and told us to take lift to 5th floor. No offer to take cases or show us to room. Got a very slow lift to the top then had 2 further flights of...

Nice hotel but badly organised. We specifically booked a double room and were given a triple room with single beds in their newer complex. After complaining and showing them our booking the lady at the desk said they were fully booked (with the concierge sniggering behind us) until we complained later that evening and magically a room at the top...

I liked this hotel a lot last time and now even more. I can see Petrin Hill and Prague Castle from the window and and while taking a bath, too. In the nighttime you cannot imagine how beautiful this city, full of history, looks. And in the morning it is time to enjoy a wonderful breakfast and what is nice,...

Its a busy hotel. The receptionist checked us in then took us next door and took us up 3 flights of stairs to our room. saying this room was quieter as the guests in other part of hotel were noisy.the room was nice and comfortable apart from the concrete bathroom floor. Was within walking distance to Wenceslas square, Old Town...

Well, where do I start. Super friendly staff, clean modern rooms and perfect locations. The hotel has the perfect mixture of rustic feel combined with the modern cleanliness one would expect from a big name hotel chain. A super cozy hotel!! We will certainly be coming back here!!

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
