Being a former convent, this hotel is full of history and the room elegant, large and a wonderful large bed - much needed after walking the streets of Prague. The location couldn't be better - so close to the astronomical clock and Charles Bridge. The staff are friendly and speak very good English and the breakfast was everything you could...

We stayed at the Savic Hotel the end of August. It is a perfect fun location, you can sit outside on the restaurant patio and watch the world go by. Our room was upgraded to a Jr Suite that was very large, comfortable and clean. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing, pretty much anything...

Our stay was perfect, the location cannot be improved, very close to the astronomical clock and the Charles Bridge. We had no noise problems, as opposed to other customers. The breakfast is very good, with fresh bread, fruit salads, vegetables, cheese, ham, salmon, yogurt, omelettes, and several hot dishes as well. The staff is very helpful, and the superior double...

We stayed for 4 nights after a hectic tour of European Capitals and found this hotel to be exactly what other reviewers had written. We loved it. Great service, great staff and great location. We stayed in the attic rooms of the 4th floor and apart from the lift reaching the 3rd floor and the air conditioning being a little...

We stayed in an upper room filled with charm with its old beams and angles to the room. Lovely new marble bathroom. It was very quiet up there and worth an extra cost because Town Square can get noisy. The convenience to site seeing in Old Town made this hotel perfect. We found it on Trip Advisor and were so...

We stayed at the Savic Hotel for four nights in September 2012. This hotel is very close to the Old Town Square. It is an excellent location from which to tour Prague. The Charles Bridge is only about a 5 minute walk. We walked to everything we wanted to see, except we took a tram to the Prague Castle and...

We stayed for 5 nights and were pleased with the quality and tasteful design of the hotel. Breakfast is served from 8 - 10, which is great for those of us from the west as it allowed us time to sleep in a bit. Bathroom was beautiful and well stocked. Many light sources and outlets too. We found the staff...

Found this hotel on Trip Advisor, excellent all round, service comfort and location, we were 2 minutes’ walk from the main square, right in the centre of Prague. The building is full of character and antique furniture; you need to explore every floor to appreciate the quality. The staff are so friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay. Free...

We stayed for three nights August 28th to 31st 2012. We accepted the hotel's offer of an airport transfer for convenience and the driver was waiting for us when we arrived. We were, however, concerned when looking for the seatbelts that the driver told us "no function". I don't know if it is against Czech law to travel without seatbelts...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
