This small hotel had more charm and character than any other boutique type hotel we've ever stayed at. Location was perfect, easy to find and so close to Charles Bridge. Our room was exactly as shown in the hotel photos, large and beautifully decorated. Very cosy and spotlessly clean. No sign of age at all. The bed and pillows were...

We stayed 2 night here in a very cozy atmosphere. Well decorated from old building, located in at few steps from Charles bridge. Friendly and helpful reception introduced us the city. The bed is very comfy with a huge soft pillow. The hotel has no elevator so you might have to carry your big bag up and down 4floor top....

Never got a chance to stay at this place, but is the favorite party destination of most of my friends. Last week, we were invited in a birthday party at this place. Dinner was awesome and included most of the dishes. Services were excellent; they presented enormous variety of dishes in such a short time. Staff was very efficient and...

Had a four night stay at the hotel and could'nt fault it. Very clean, helpful and attentive staff. Room was well appointed and the hotel itself is in a great location close to Charles Bridge. Excellent breakfast with waiter service instead of the usual queue for the buffet. Would not hesitate to stay again and would definitely recommend. Fabulous!

We booked this via booking.com, got a great rate on the attic family room,The Imperial room . This room is along the top of the whole building with a view of the famous bridge and the church. We had a bedroom, a very big bathroom , kitchen, living room , and dinning area. We spoke via emails with the hotel...

We were booked at a different hotel across the street but upon arrival we were met and advised that due to a water problem we were being booked into this hotel instead. I am not sure what the difference in prices would have been, but the room we were given was probably the strangest I have ever stayed in. It...

If you're looking for a place to stay in Prague look no further. A friend recommended this hotel to us and we were extremely pleased. The hotel is conveniently located very close to the bridge. It's on a main street but even the rooms that face the street are quiet after about 11pm. The hotel is beautiful and very clean....

This is a small residence located smacked in the touristic attraction area. The reception was nice, helpful and open, something rare to find in Czec Republic. Our room was spacious and the Hästens brand bed provided us very comfortable and cozy nights. They offer free wifi internet in the rooms, that´s quite good ! The only issue was the lack...

Excellent location near Charles bridge. Romantic design (exterior and especially interior) with old stile furniture, very traditional and pleasant. Also everything is very clean. Breakfast is fear. Wooden floors can be a bit noisy. Also if you have a room with street view you should know there is a lot of people until late in the night (the window phonic...

Didn't stay at the hotel, but since the restaurant apparently hasn't got its own page, here I am. The sign on the door advertising 'breakfast all day' was all it took to get me and my massive "too much pilsen" induced hangover in. The eggs benedict at this place is an absolutely divine dish, doubly so when served with a...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
