Had a great time in Prague again & booked this hotel as it was central & was advertised as a 5 star. As we had previously stayed further out in a 3 star budget hotel we thought we would push the boat out & have a bit of luxury this time. Whilst I always check reviews before booking I thought...

This hotel was actually my third choice for my latest trip to Prague, as the Josef and the Metropol were both full on the days that I needed it, I was not disappointed, especially as I got a good deal through expedia and only paid £60 per evening. Firstly, although the hotel is classed as a five-star, I would safely...

We stayed at the Eruostars Thaila for a weekend & it was a fantastic experience. The staff were so helpful & friendly from the time we arrived until we departed. On arrival we were given lots of information re tours etc & also a map of the city. The rooms were lovely & very comfortable. The location of the hotel...

We had a 7 day stay here and we found it perfect for us as a couple. Rooms fab and a bed so big you could play a footie match on it. Staff helpful and smart and friendly. Breakfast was cracking as others state here. Location was ideal only 10 mins max from all major tourist sites. Most things like...

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in July of 2008. We booked our stay directly through the hotel's website. The hotel is beautiful, located in an renovated 19th century palace. Our room was large by European standards, and had vaulted ceilings and a private balcony (although I think it might have been the only balcony...

Location, like lots of other people said, is perfect. Easy to reach by public transport from the airport - which is important for me as the taxis cost a lot of money. Can walk to every place from the hotel. Room was really nice. Nice bed and super bathroom. Breakfast was yummy. I would rate the hotel 3 star but...

Our first night in Prague wasn't so good since our first hotel wasn't so good. We then walked around and found this hotel on the way with good location. We then stayed here 2 nights and it save our trip. It's a lot better especially at the SAME price compare to another hotel we stayed in. Location about 5-10 mins...

We stayed here for 4 nights in November 2007 as we wanted a nice getaway for a few days. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly porter and 2 reception staff who handled our check-in very efficiently. The room itself was very nice with wonderful furnishings and a great layout. The bathroom was again also very nice, the...

This hotel has very nice rooms. Unfortunately I will never book there for my company again. Because the front desk upset my guests so much it was highly embarrassing. I could not explain them why they were treated that way. ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY TERRIBLE treatment by the front desk.

I have just returned from a Long weekend in Prague where we stayed at the eurostars thalia, medium sized room and very clean. I agree that the hotel may not have been a 5* but i would defently rate it a 4*. The breakfast that was included in our rate was delicious, fresh fruit, cereals, breads, meats and cheeses and...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
