The locatioan is perfekt, near National Theater - but, there is a public transport opposite the hotel, so you have to find a room on the Top level. The receptionist dosnt speak Czech, quite interesant...The room was OK, with high top, AC. BUT NOT a 5STAR QUALITY, in the bathroom you will not find the 5 star quality, no shampoo-showergel,...

I'm writing this review while in my room on the final night of our stay at the Eurostars thalia. An I'm writing this because of the free wifi - an excellent service from the hotel. The hotel is very clean and tastefully decorated. The rooms are slightly on the small side but well decorated with good bathrooms (excellent shower). Slight...

The hotel is in the city center and it takes 5-10 min walk to the main shopping and visiting zone, if you can catch the net booking promotions you can stay for a very low price. The hotel price was ok, however the city is a bit expensive. The rooms are clean and large enough to feel fresh, however the...

My husband and I have just got back from 3 nights staying at the Eurostar Thalia, and it is on par with the best hotel we have ever stayed in. When we first arrived at the hotel, a nice man came out and took our bag and passed us over to check in desk. They provided a map of prague...

We spent 3 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hotel is clean, quiet, comfortable and the staff are very friendly. Breakfast is standard. Location-wise it's also very good. All of the tourist attractions are in walking distance, and there are a couple of good pubs about 5-10mins walk away. Recommend Kolkovna Olympia for food (just across the river) (http://www.kolkovna.cz/index.php?language=en&place=12&show=hot)...

I've stayed at Hotel Eurostars Thalia from 10th to 13th of February. I'll keep this review short and to the point - I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Prague for both leisure or business. The location is great (about 6 minutes walk from both Charles Bridge and Wescelas Square and 10 minutes from Old Town Square), the...

Was offered the option of this hotel on my first (business) trip to Prague. I was glad I chose it. Tastefully finished and well appointed, this is a great example of how hotels should be: good, clean and spacious rooms, attentive staff, great breakfasts and free WiFi throughout. Sure, Prague has many cheaper hotels, but many of the more expensive...

The Thalia is a beautiful hotel in a great position in Prague - 15 minutes' walk from Charles Bridge and thus close to the river. All the staff we spoke to were polite and helpful, but we would like to give a special mention to Monica at reception. When we arrived she was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, even enquiring after...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
