Nice room, perfect location just walking distance to old town square.. Easy to go anywhere. The room is good, bed and pillow is good.. Even you can find rice on the breakfast buffet menu. The building is little bit old but already renovated. The staff is friendly.I have a good experience while staying in this hotel

Hard to beat the location, right on Old Town Square. And the breakfast was great featuring all the offerings from their pastry shop (avoid the eggs thought). Breakfast is in a very old world cute room, directly across from the famous clock. The sleeping rooms vary a lot, being spread out in several old buildings on the square. We had...

They 'upgraded' our room but that meant walking up three flights of stairs each time we went to our room. After a day of walking all over Prague that was the last thing we wanted to do. We asked three times to get the AC to work properly but with minimal effort they never got it to work properly. We...

Dear SIr/Madam, thank you, for your respond to our accommodation. I am sorry to read, that the stairs up to your apartment were a problem, I can understand, that that can be a hard one after all day walking around Prague, but Apostolic residence is protected by Czech legislation to preserve it's heritage. Unfortunately due to these laws we are...

The Grand hotel Praha was an excellent choice to stay in Prague. Well situated in the old town square was very convenient. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Breakfast which was included was plentiful and very tasty. On site restaurant with classical concert was an excellent evening and well worth the money. The superior room did however have a awkward...

From the first moment at the check-in desk, the service was warm, professional and very helpful. Martin, at the concierge desk was our go-to guy for everything from where to get the best currency exchange to directing us to interesting sites in the easiest way possible. He was very knowledgable and always ready to assist with any and all questions....

You couldn't get a better location right in the centre of Prague..Our room looked out at the astronomical clock and old town square. We were on the top floor so there was a lot of stairs to climb but it was worth it but I don think it would be suited to families with young kids, it was a two...

Dear Sir/Madam, thank you, for your lovel respond to our acommodation and services provided. Could not recommend highly enough if looking for a central base when visiting Prague. No negatives apart from noise from preparations and hosting in the square for the Prague Marathon but certainly not something the hotel can do anything about. All told, it did not detract from a thoroughly enjoyable stay and experience with all hotel staff. Would recommend pre-booking...

While the hotel and rooms have an old appearance, this is part of the charm. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Wifi, while a Little slow, works in most of the building. Breakfast buffet is awesome with large selection to satisfy most. Not much to fault really. Located right in the main square and an easy walk to everywhere. Surprisingly,...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
