Nice hotel; well presented and friendly. Small public seating area at reception, pleasant Bar area, and large Breakfast room, A small lift is available if you don't fancy the stairs. Our room was spacious and well fitted out with nice bathroom and all the trimming you would expect from a 4 star hotel, Tea making, Safe and Flat screen TV.... More

A very pleasant surprise. A warm and efficient welcome on arrival and the reception staff were extremely helpful throughout my stay. The room was very clean, well decorated and with enough space to include a sofa. Only a shame that the TV did not pick up any English language programmes. The hotel is on a tram route into the city... More

Stayed here for 3 nights on our first visit to Prague and I'd definitely some back again. We arrived a few hours before check in time, due to flights, but were able to go straight up to our room. Room 509 was extremely spacious and offered a view over the picturesque rooftops of New Town. Just to be aware, one... More

We were welcomed by friendly helpful staff who stored our luggage until we could book in at 14:00. We had room 305 which was large with a kettle & teabags, a stocked minibar, an easy to use safe and sweets. The wardrobe also included slippers, shoe horn and shoe buff. The bathroom had a shower over a bath with free... More

Everything was ready when we arrived. Hotel is 5 mins walk from underground station and trams pass right outside it. It is 5 mins walk from the river. Good size rooms, clean, good location, wi-fi worked, plentiful breakfast. Recommended

I brought my wife to Prague for her birthday and stayed here, first impressions were good with friendly staff checking us in. The room was clean and tidy but we found that the lack of carpet everywhere did make it quite noisy at times. Suitcases being dragged around, the cleaners trolley etc, were things you tended to hear. Breakfast was... More

Stayed two nights with friends. Hotel is easy to find, very good location and there is few good restaurants near. Lobby bar works well. Good service and price-level is reasonable for lobby bar. But the room.. from the late 80´s or early 90´s. Only good thing was that it was easy to talk with friends which stayed next room (yes,... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
