We stayed in Miss Sophie's hotel for 3 nights in December. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. About the room: The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with good heating. The bed was king-sized although the duvets provided were 2 single sized ones, but it was comfortable enough for us. We only had backpacks, but we reckon there...

I go there at least once a week only because great breakfast. You can choose "cold" one or "hot" brunch. Depends do you want eggs, bacon, pancakes etc. There is really everything and many kind of to choose from. Price is lower than anywhere else in Prague, if you think about buffet places. Its 5.5€ or 7.5€. Depends do you...

There were 3 of us and the room we had was big and nice. This is a charming little hotel, with the tram station and metro station with a few minutes walk away. The environment was quiet, hence enabled us to be able to sleep well and peacefully.

So many good things about this hotel from its quiet location to the design of the rooms. Great advice from Alex in reception about the best concert to go to, we went to the Rudolfini to see the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra play with an internationally renowned conductor for an amazingly cheap price, K300. Concert was sold out but Nuno...

If you plan to travel to Prague consider this little hotel in Prague 2 . Very ner the center of the town (you may walk directly there). The place is calm and the people are nice. Don't be misleaded by the presence of the hostel. It is on the opposite side on the narrow road, and it doesn't bring any...

I booked the hotel as a package with a flight via Expedia. Booking was simple and there were no problems. I believe that I got a good price. I've not been to Prague before and wasn't sure where to stay. What I did know was that I wanted to stay somewhere a little bit different that had easy access to...

Having seen the lovely reviews on TripAdvisor I decided to book with the the cheapest company which was hotels.com. I was clear about the fact that there is a Sophie's hostel & a miss Sophie's hotel and booked miss Sophie's - when the booking came through it was booked for the hostel not the hotel. I contacted the hotel directly...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
