We stayed here for 2 nights in October. After checking in we were amazed at the size of the room we had and taken back as to how clean it was too, this hotel is definately 4 stars. In terms of value this place is hard to beat. It's in the best location for sight seeing being located in the...

The hotel Prague Clarion is a above average size hotel located in the quiet jewish district of Prague, Josefov. The room was pretty big and clean with a balcony overlooking a closed yard. The breakfasts were good but the dining area was kind of busy..try eating around 9h30! The hotel staff are available and ready to serve you. The offer...

Me and boyfriend initially booked Hotel Mucha but was relocated to Hotel Clarion due to some water problem in Hotel Mucha. To my surprise, Hotel Clarion was extremely new and clean. Reception lady was helpful and spoke good English. The room was clean and tidy and the double bed was lovely. Our room had a little nice balcony which gave...

Just returned for a stay at the Clarion Hotel in Prague, to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Massive room with a balony with a view of the river, with an equally large bathroom. Spotlessly clean throughout. Friendly staff, great location. 10-15 minute walk to the main square with some excellent places to eat nearby. Would definately stay again!

I took my wife to Prague for a weekend break for our wedding anniversary and stayed at The Clarion Hotel. We did'nt eat at the hotel so I cannot comment on the food but the hotel itself is spotless. On arrival (10 AM ) the receptionist was very friendly and spoke excellent English as did the majority of the staff....

Our group of 27 was booked into the Clarion by our travel agent after a delightful cruise. Our room was so small we could not open both of our suitcases. I was told it was a standard size room. We moved to a slightly larger room where we could open our suitcases. We found the staff to be unfriendly and...

We booked a large number of rooms at this hotel & there were no probems with the booking or accomodating so many people (in excess of 20). On arrival we were all pleased with the appearance of the hotel & each room was modern, clean & well equipped. The public areas consisted of a simple restaurant area, modern bar &...

Went to Prague and stayed at Clarion Hotel Prague on January 2006 and enjoyed our stay. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful to us, rooms were clean.. Hotel's location was excellent for us, close to old city centre - Tin Church and Astrological Clock Tower.. I can recommend a nearby restaurant named like "Bufallo Bill's", and a bar named...

In Prague for 2 nights on business. Used trip advisor's reviews when deciding on this hotel. Good location. Very clean, well maintained, friendly and helpful staff. Free internet connection which was great but no WIFI. You do pay a premium on taxi's arranged through the hotel but did not have to wait. Being on my own I did eat in...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
