The hotel was located about two miles away from the centre of Prague but don't worry if you don't like walking as you can either get a tram or a bus from outside the hotel, even at midnight the transport ran quite regular. Staff were friendly and the room was clean and had really good air conditioning which was free....

I stayed at the Hotel Vitkov for a couple of days. It was a business trip so I stayed 3 nights and I can tell that hotel reception was very helpful. You can either walk or get on a tram just in front of the hotel and go to touristic places or city center. Breakfast was alright. Room was clean....

I would really recommend this hotel if you are on a budget. My room was serviced every day, if you wanted fresh towels, you just had to leave them on the floor. The inclusive breakfast was great, you get, bread, pastries, cereal, cold meats, cheese, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, lots of different spreads for the bread, juice and water dispenser,...

I left my necklace in the room and emailed the hotel when I had returned home. They replied the following day saying that the maid had handed it in and they would post it that day at no cost. I was so happy and thankful to Lenka who arranged this for me. The hotel is nice and has everything you...

I am not one to complain but there were some significant issues during my stay at Hotel Viktov. 1) The bathroom, which is a separate room for the toilet and shower, both smell AWFUL! There is no ventilation and the smell did not go away after being cleaned by staff….i.e. explaining the air circulation for these rooms is non-existent. 2)...

Decent value for money. The room was large enough, cleaned, with bathroom of a decent size. Breakfast was fine but rather light. The hotel is located near a tram stop. Service was ok, with staff speaking an excellent English.

Room was clean, on the first morning my shower door broke. Advised reception who fixed it immediately! The service I received was impeccable, nothing was of trouble. Your reception manager lenka was such a credit to your hotel, her service was perfect, recommended me a lovely little cafe where I could try Czech food and feel comfortable as a solo...

The room was booked as a package deal via expedia.com. Over all we were happy with our experience at the hotel. We had a few issues but we are realistic travelers, so we know things happen. The rooms were clean and basic. There is a tesco express right across the street and the tram, bus and ticket machines for each...

Stayed at the Vitkov Hotel first week of 2017. Overall, the hotel is OK. Many many young travellers staying at this hotel. My room overlooking the back of the hotel was very quiet. First time at the Vitkov as my other regular hotel was full. Breakfast is average, Czech style. The cold drinks are really not worth having as they...

Good value for money. Excellent location, the bust station which takes you directly to the Old Town is just across the street. Ride to the Old Town takes approximately 12 minutes. The hotel facilities need renovation; definitely not a 4-star hotel. Decent breakfast. Clean room. What made worth the stay was the Staff. Really friendly and helpful with anything we...
