Overall a bad experience, only considerable thing were the staff who were friendly. Breakfast is really basic and of bad quality. The parking is free but in a different place a few kilometers away. The room was very bad with a lot of dust and burn marks on furniture. For a 3 room that cost us 60 Euros, one bed...

Travelled with girlfriend and friends to Prague for two nights. Found this hotel on Tripadvisor and it does what it says on the tin. No more and no less. Our room was nice and tidy, wifi worked quite good but the parking, unfortunately was a little bit of a distance away. Took about 10 min to walk there. The breakfast...

The guy at reception was the friendliest most helpful person ever. Prague is great and we've found it so friendly, but this was a stand out for us. The room was small but sufficient, the bathroom was clean and adorable.

We stayed in room 1 which I don't recommend because it is right above the interior courtyard. This is not great because all the smokers smoke will rise up into your room. The room was quite small, basically there is just enough room to walk to the bathroom or out the door! The tv didn't work either. Overall, it met...

Nice hotel with friendly staff and a variety of room types and sizes. Room was very comfortable although the bathroom was a bit small. A bit far from the main sites of Prague, e.g. the old town and Charles Bridge, but a nice walk to the centre. Not too far from the nearest metro station which was helpful on the...

We booked three nights at the Hotel Machova in Prague (from 21 to 24 April, three-bed room). We lived in a room in the style of the Soviet Union, which was more like a Soviet camp, with cracked windows, terribly small bathroom with old fixtures and cracked, with other people's hair in the shower, terrible stuffiness in the room and...

We had one night in Prague and did not want to spend a lot of money. We had a very pleasant experience; it was exactly what we needed for the night. We slept great it was so peaceful you could hear a pin drop in the room during the night. If you would rather spend your cash out in town...

Stayed 4d3n in this hotel. It didnt start right with me. Paid for double standard room and i was given single bed room. So talked to the reception to have it altered. Asked on booking for upper storey room but was given room on ground floor next to the lift (not so brilliant). The room was relatively small with non...

Staying in Vinohrady & Vrsovice

Neighbourhood Profile
Vinohrady & Vrsovice
Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this neighbourhood standing on former vineyards developed very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century. Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live, and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars, cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy shops, it is a home for people from all around the world. This area blends expats, families, bohemian students and Prague’s hip community. It is a great place for breakfast in the morning, the best lunch places and a buzzing night life. After sundown, stroll down to Vršovice, the new center of the hipster, alternative and gay scenes in Prague.
