As a group of 7 students, we stayed in two apartments (one three bed and one with two doubles). We found the rooms to be basic, but very clean (they are cleaned daily) and well equipped, meaning we were able to cook for ourselves some nights to save money! The staff at reception were incredibly friendly and helpful, with lots...

Good, clean facilities and friendly staff. Very close to the city centre and easy to get to from the airport. There is also a lovely pub down stairs which has a TV, fine beer and amazing food. Only downside is there is no air conditioning in the rooms which means you need to leave the windows open. This really cools...

We had booked 2 beds at the 7-dorm room for 3 nights but when we arrived there, they told us something is wrong so they would put us in an 8-dorm room for the first night and in an 4-dorm for the next two nights with no extra charge. This worked really well for us because the 4-dorm was really nice...

It isnt very close to the center, but the rooms are really nice with their own kitchen and the stuff was very good to us but there was a problem about the hot water! Dont take shower at the same time with someone 😑😑😑

Can't argue with the value of this hotel based on its proximity to the central tourist areas; it's only about a 10 minute walk from the central train station (Narodni hln), and about 5 minutes to Wenceslas Square. Metro and tram stops are close by as well. Prague is a good walking city, so it is easy to start at...

Enjoyed our stay great for those on a budget that want clean no frills accommodation in the heart of everything. However no matter what floor you stay on it will involve stairs. There are stairs to the lift on the first floor and whichever floor you go to you need to walk up or down to your corridor/room.If you arrive between 8pm...

The hotel is on five floors and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, so there is no problem if you come with friends or family, there is enough space. Food is great , there is a lot of sorts of fruits and vegetables, same...

Really nice place close to the center. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I also liked the service a lot. Everyone was really nice and friendly in the hotel. If I go back to prague I would definitely decide to go back in this hotel.

I have stayed in the residence during my holiday in Prague and I loved it! It is very close to the center and the rooms are really nice - with their own kitchen! The whole staff is really friendly, competent and multilingual! I liked the atmosphere there a lot, had a great stay and would suggest the residence to anyone...

We stayed there for 4 nights. It was a very pleasant stay. Room was big, clean and spacious. The location was very central to all major sights and attractions in Prague and room itself wasn't too expensive. Only issue is reception is closed after 8 pm. So if you are planning to check in after 8 pm , make sure...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

“It depends from traveler to traveler you know... someone doesn´t mind if there is a lot of noise and others mind... So if you mind choose room to a side of hotel that is not on side by street. But for light you don´t have to worry ... there is a lot of light, and if is too much for you there are blinds and curtains. Have a nice trip :)”
