After having been assured by email that someone would meet us when I and my two friends arrived at 8pm, we instead found a locked door with a locked security metal cage. We then had to brave the overseas charges to call their emergency number to get into the place, but nobody picked up... After three tries and using three...

A great price for this hostel, and fantastic service. Rooms equipped with lockers, padlocks and chains supplied free of charge at reception. The hostel occupies former flats, with two bedrooms and a shared kitchen area each - so the rooms are only used for sleeping, not socialising, which makes for an undisturbed night. During my stay, everything was spotlessly clean;...

It is basic, but the price is amazing, so there is really nothing to complain about. The place is clean and the staff is friendlier; only the showers could be a little more practical, but apart from that, there is noting bad to say.

Friendly staff and basic room which is exactly what you would expect for the price. It is an easy 17 minute walk from the Central train station and easy to walk back towards the Old Town to explore. There is a good place for breakfast 5 minutes away and you can catch tram 22 for the castle near by. The...

The Reception staff were absolutely wonderful to converse with in English - about the stay and with help in finding things in the neighborhood. The Chamber Maids were attentive to keeping it clean. $25 USD Taxi connection to PRG Airport. $4 USD from the Main Train Station. It does have a Hostel section, but those guests were quiet and respectful....

This hostel is one of the worst I have ever stayed in. We arrived to no staff, no emails, nothing. Just a sign on the door with a number we had to ring despite not wanting to pay for overseas charges. They then gave us instructions to get the key from a safe box. We went to our room which...

The bathroom was not clean which negatively affected my experience. The ground floor rooms we were in also smelled like cat urine. However it is in a good, central location and the beds are fairly comfortable. The staff are friendly but the office hours are quite short.

Very close to hystorical centre and to a lot of shops and restaurants. Short and nice walk to the astronomical clock and a little bit more to Charle's Bridge. Very close to the National Museum. Old building with no elevator... large and clean rooms. No complaint at all. I have loved this place.

We stayed there for two nights and it was a really plaisant stay. The staff is nice, helpful and professionnal. The price-quality ratio is very good. The rooms are silent and the wifi works well. I recommend this hotel.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

“It depends from traveler to traveler you know... someone doesn´t mind if there is a lot of noise and others mind... So if you mind choose room to a side of hotel that is not on side by street. But for light you don´t have to worry ... there is a lot of light, and if is too much for you there are blinds and curtains. Have a nice trip :)”
