The hostel was good value for money and is couple of minutes walk from Charles bridge and old town. Some great bars and restaurants near the hostel. The hostel was very busy and at times we felt the room was bit cramped. It was good value for money.

Dear guest, thank you for your review. We are glad to see you liked the good price and the great location with bars nearby. During september it is still a high season, and all the beds may be occupied. We hope to see you again soon at the check in desk. Kind regards, Tereza Křepelková, PR Manager

Brilliant hostel everyone is friendly and is really near all the top tourist attractions. Kitchen is massive and has a microwave and Hob. The rooms do get very hot at night , but the atmosphere makes up for it.

Stayed 3 nights at the end of a month interrailing. We had booked one private room at a good price, and were shocked when we got in, far larger than we were expecting! The bedroom on it's own was already a good size and just what we expected for a hostel, but then through the door the bathroom was the...

Dear guest, thank you for your comment! We are happy you a positive shock :) that you liked the big private room you stayed in, the quieter but central location and the price! Sorry about the spoon, our housekeeping has been advised to be careful next time. The cleanliness of the kitchen during the rush hours depends mainly on the...

Okay, so the location is absolutely perfect, just off Charles bridge and you can walk to the majority of places! The room was clean-ish. The duvet and pillow hang out of their cases and both are pretty grim, and the mattress wasn't very clean either. However, our room was a perfect size for 2 and the bathroom was huge! (We...

The hostel is situated right by the busy bridge, which is close to some main attractions, although I found most of the nightlife was the other side of the bridge but still wasn't an issue walking late at night. The room I stayed in had 14 beds and I got pretty lucky with my bed being by the window and...

Dear guest, thank you for your comment. It is nice to hear you liked the location which was near to everything, the bed setup suited you and that you could not hear people partying in the basement. We are sorry for the noise the other night, the night reception usually takes the noisy people to the area downstairs. Thank you...

7 friends including myself loved our stay of 2 nights in Hostel Mango. The 14 bed mixed dorm was very spacious and the bathroom had a large shower and sink area. There was a separate room for the toilet and shower, which was very convenient for 14 people sharing a room. There are lockers in the rooms available for luggage...

The best thing about Hostel Mango is that is next to the old bridge. It was clean and the people in the reception where helpful. I could also say that it's not that expensive but we had problems with the internet connection. There was no signal in our bedroom and we had to be all the time to the reception...

Very nice hostel! The staff was very accommodating - I was able to change my check in time no problem, and they offered good advice for where to eat, what to see, etc. I stayed in an 8 person, all female room. The floors were clean, the linens were fresh, and the en suite bathroom was very clean. The lockers...

We stayed in this hostel as a group of six female travellers, in a 14 bed dorm, for three nights. The dorm was very clean and fairly large, although some beds were in very close proximity to one another due to the shape of the room. There was a large balcony looking onto the courtyard of the hostel which was...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
