The employees were more than nice to us. They do everything to make your stay as nice as possible. There were some very nice gestures; at night we found a note with te weather next day plus a little chocolate on our bed. Every morning there was een fresh bottle of water, there was fruit in the room and a...

This must be one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at in terms of service and attention to detail! Upon arrival you are offered a choice of beverages whilst you check in and are then led to the guest lounge where you're given some great suggestions of what to do, see and eat in Prague. The rooms are spotless...

I am a travel reporter and have visited every continent on the planet. I recently stayed at Questenberk, and they are now my FAVORITE hotel in the world! They are located at the top of the hill overlooking Prague...a beautiful and serene location. I even give them a huge shout out on my website.

The moment you walk in the giant old door, you are offered sparkling wine during your check in you then given an overview of Prague in the guest lounge. It has things I expect to see in a much more expensive hotel such as wine and cheese waiting in the room (that might be because we booked online), a bottle...

This was a fun place to stay. Built in the 1600s, very nice interiors and well trained staff. We decided to get the breakfast, which was a little pricey, but it really was nice to sit in the beautiful breakfast room looking out the windows at Prague. One day I asked my husband what his favorite part of the day...

Hotel Questenbeck's staff is very attentive and customer oriented. Checking in with Nikol was a breeze. The hotel is also a part of the monastery, and both are considered to be a part of World Heritage Sites, so there is a lot of history in the building and it explains its architecture; outside of the hotel looks like a church....

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Location of Questenberk hotel is special for its breathtaking view on the entire city of Prague. Within moments you are able to reach Prague Castle (approximately 5 minutes) and other most visited Prague's sites such as Charles Bridge, Lesser Town and Old Town square. Its unique placement gives you infinite options how to plan your journey in Prague. Only steps from our hotel you can enjoy the calm of Petrin park which is the biggest park in Prague and it is a pleasant place where to spend end of your day with an evening walk from the town. The building was built in 17th century and it served as a formal private palace to Sir Caspar Von Questenberg who was a German priest, Abbot of Strahov Premonstratensian Monastery. Sometimes the building is misinterpreted as a church, because the architecture is very similar to the one found in Strahov Monastery which is located only 2 minutes of walking through our terrace restaurant. Our hotel is suitable for clients of all ages, families with children, couples, wedding occassions or business trips. Staying in hotel Questenberk will give you unforgetable memories and will definitely make your stay in Prague even more enjoyable. ... more   less
