Hotel is in an excellent location; the old town square is only a short walk away. The hotel receptionist, Petra, was very kind and helpful; she helped us to decide and recommend trips/ things to do and then booked it for us - not only that but you could tell she was a genuine kind person. The breakfast was good......

We stayed in the same hotel 4 years ago. The location is within walking distance of most everything you want to see in Prague. The staff is most helpful in getting cars for anywhere that is not in walking distance. We were there in December and appreciated the close proximity to the square. The hotel is clean and very comfortable....

Great little property close to Old Town Square. Other than Breakfast there are no amenities at the Hotel, we never found this to be a problem as we were out all day and there is a great little Bar across the street to have a night cap. We stayed in 802, had a tiny little Balcony but the view was...

This hotel is approximately 1/2 hour by car from the airport, we booked through Expedia and included a return private car transfer this service was excellent. The hotel is very close to the old town square and most places are within walking distance. Our rate included breakfast which was a very good choice of both a hot and cold buffet....

The hotel location was perfect only 5 minutes to old town square which was beautiful with all the Xmas decorations. We booked this through Jet2 & very reasonable with flight & 4 nights stay. Although if you would like a bit more luxury thus is not the hotel. No hotel bar & breakfast not the best. But very reasonable to...

We spent 4 days in Prague over Christmas. The hotel is in a good location, we walked everywhere. We had a room on the 6th floor which had a balcony, very nice as the heat was on and it was difficult to regulate the temp. inside the room so we opened the door to the balcony most evenings. With the...

A group of us stayed here for a few days for the Xmas markets in Prague. Hotel is easy to get to via bus and metro. We got a 3 day pass for unlimited travel on public transport. Good value. Hotel is near plenty of shops and there are restaurants nearby but we used our passes to visit other areas...

The rooms have all the basics. It's not a hotel you'd spend all your time in as there were only 2 English channels on TV. The restaurant was brilliant and the staff went out of their way for me when I'd stayed in the room ill on one of the days and was late down to the restaurant. The food...

We stayed for 4 nights from 11th Dec '16. We prebooked transfer to hotel and were not disappointed when we arrived. Good sized room, comfortable bed and powerful shower. Good selection at breakfast though I'm not sure if anyone ever ate the broccoli?!?! The hotel is in a perfect location, we walked to the Castle, Wencelas Square and the new...

Very friendly staff, nice clean rooms, 2 lifts, excellent breakfast, very close to the town centre. I really cannot fault this hotel. Would stay here again, better than many Ibis and Mercure hotels that I have stayed at.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
