The best thing first of all is location of the hotel, the view from the window is on the Charles Bridge, very nice rooms and breakfast was very good! From the hotel you can reach city center, old town or Prague Castle in 5 minutes.

Stayed 5 days and nights in Prague stayed at the hotel Certovka right at the end of Charles bridge, nice central location. Friendly and helpful staff, nice spacious rooms cleaned daily. Good selection for breakfast.

We stayed here for four nights and would highly recommend it. It was our first time in Prague and it was the ideal base with Charles Bridge in front of the hotel and St Vitas Cathedral a short walk away. Room was lovely and had everything we needed plus the staff were very friendly. Great location and very cheap for...

What a great hotel. Situated at the side of Charles Bridge. We arrived at tea and were met by a very lovely girl. She said they had two rooms left and we could pick. Both rooms were lovely and we picked one on the second floor overlooking the river and Charles Bridge. The rooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast was...

Certovka Hotel had been chosen due to its location. Mala Strana is my favorite district in Prague, but this hotel is also close to Staro Mesto. Another point is station Malostranska in 7 minute on foot. The bed was OK. The room is enough warm. There is mini bar (fridge) in the table. Wi Fi is free, its speed is...

The location couldn't have been better. The view from our hotel room was like we were in a different time. The breakfast was a good start to the day and the front desk staff was always helpful and pleasant. We would stay there again and recommend to friends.

Hotel was situated in lovely location, close to Charles Bridge. There were numerous restaurants within 5 minutes walk of the Hotel,in fact there is one opposite the Certovka river embankment. Staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was good, both a hot meal and usual buffet breakfast. Would not hesitate in returning to this Hotel due mainly to location.

We were pleasantly surprised to find that our hotel was so close to to Karlov Most. This is a fantastically central location from where you can make the most of the early mornings before the bridge gets really busy. Our room (#1) was a twin room on the certovka river (like literally on the river!!!). The tour boats come past...

My husband and me stayed there to celebrate our anniversary. We got a special offer so that our stay was really cheap (44 Euros per night! In Italy this would be the price of a single room in a 1 star B.B or a bed in a youth hostel). And nevertheless, since I asked for a romantic view, we got...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
