The location couldn't have been better. The view from our hotel room was like we were in a different time. The breakfast was a good start to the day and the front desk staff was always helpful and pleasant. We would stay there again and recommend to friends.

Hotel was situated in lovely location, close to Charles Bridge. There were numerous restaurants within 5 minutes walk of the Hotel,in fact there is one opposite the Certovka river embankment. Staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was good, both a hot meal and usual buffet breakfast. Would not hesitate in returning to this Hotel due mainly to location.

We were pleasantly surprised to find that our hotel was so close to to Karlov Most. This is a fantastically central location from where you can make the most of the early mornings before the bridge gets really busy. Our room (#1) was a twin room on the certovka river (like literally on the river!!!). The tour boats come past...

My husband and me stayed there to celebrate our anniversary. We got a special offer so that our stay was really cheap (44 Euros per night! In Italy this would be the price of a single room in a 1 star B.B or a bed in a youth hostel). And nevertheless, since I asked for a romantic view, we got...

We spent there a great evening for dinner. Nice and quiet situation and great view to karlov most bridge - away from all the tourists. Meal was very delicious and fast served, stuff really friendly and price OK. Next time again!!!

The hotel is clean and tidy, with helpful staff. We got lots of information about transport and restaurants from the reception. It's smack bang next to Charles Bridge with a small river (Certovka) running right next to it. A beautiful location. Bear in mind it is a tourist hot spot, so can be quite busy and loud in the day....

I have stayed at this hotel 2 times. Once December 2006 and once October 2015. Both times were great. The hotel is very clean and you could not ask for a better location. Staff is friendly and helpful. I plan to visit again in 2017 and absolutely plan to stay here once again.

If you want to live in a fairy tale - that's the place to choose. Absolutely stunning. Both the exterior and the interior. Amazing tooms, an absolutely breathtaking view, a tasty breakfast - everything is so good and of a high quality so you have to be a complete whiner if you can find something you don't like here. Small Prague hotel in the Mala Strana district of Prague. Located right off the Charles Bridge, the location couldn't be better. Contrary to what I've read on other reviews here, there is NO street noise. The windows seal off the street noise completely, and with the AC you are comfortable. Besides, the Mala Strana is on the "quieter" side of...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
