The location of the hotel is great, close to the main shopping district and a short walk from the main square. Rooms and public areas are clean and the staff are really friendly and fluent in English, there is a concierge desk who will help with tours, taxis, shows, restaurant reservations etc. Bar area was small yet didn't seem too...

I had emailed the hotel before we left the UK asking for a 'nice room' as it was my 40th birthday celebration, we arrived late in the evening, the room was lovely and they had even surprised me with a birthday card and bottle of wine - how lovely :) The hotel location is great - near to all the...

we just stayed for 4 nights at this hotel and all i can say is that it is pretty dated and needs a revamp of the entire hotel! Staff is friendly and helpful but i wouldn't care to go back here again! however it is pretty centrally located to all the major attractaions!

My wife & I just enjoyed an absolutely faultless 4-day mini break in Prague in your superb hotel. Not only is the style of the hotel absolutely in keeping with the 'feel' of Prague's beautiful squares and architecture, but the room was a genuinely delight, the bathroom were spotless and felt luxurious and the breakfast in your amazing tiles dining...

Lovely hotel and love the OTT Deco, walking distance to shopping centres and shops, lots of lovely restaurant nearby. We read the reviews here before booking and yes, make sure you ask for rooms facing rear of the building rather than Main Street to avoid noise at night.

I was at this hotel in December 2016 for my 30th Birthday. It's in the centre with walking distance to everything around Prague without it being smack bang in the middle of the touristy area. The hotel was very Christmassy and all the staff were very friendly. Rooms were a good size and cozy with large comfortable beds. We got...

I would recommend this hotel firstly for its great location. It's easy to get to from the airport. Get the Airport Express (AE) bus (60kr) direct to the train station, and it's a 5-10 min walk to the hotel from there. Most of the main tourist attractions are 10 mins from the hotel with the castle being a little further...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
