This is a fascinating place - the thick stone walls show that it was originally a flour mill a thousand years back. Later converted to a residence, this place is full of character. It's family run and the service is great. Very full breakfast - yogurt, granola, fruit, cheese, juice, tea/coffee (Bianca will remember what you like after your first...

We couldn't be more pleased with our stay here. The room is clean and tidy. No elevator so the climb to the top floor can be a challenge after a long day of sight seeing. Blanca and her staff are very helpful. They keep a supply of public transit tickets on hand and will call a cab for you or...

If I every get back to Prague, I will stay here again. It is a charming oasis in an urban area of Prague. We stayed 3 nights and our days went like this: Come down in the morning and relax over a wonderful breakfast (cereal, breads, fruit, and eggs to order. I always had the bacon and eggs) Then we...

Where to start.... We're a young couple from Canada on our honeymoon in search of authentic and traditional experiences. And we're foodies. Pension Vetrnik had it all. I wish we could have stayed here longer. The building has a rich history dating back over 1000 years. The chef is outstanding and has traditional recipes that have been passed down to...

Quiet, peaceful, fantastic place to stay and eat. The staff was extremely nice and helpful in every way from check-in to arranging transportation into the city destinations. This family run establishment dates back many years and was very comfortable. I cant say enough about the food, five star gourmet meals served in their restaurant are second to none!!

We arrived after 1am due to Czech Airlines being late, taxi driver getting lost, and difficulty convincing him to call [language barrier]. When he finally did, our hostess Blanca's sister in law was waiting to wave us in at the gate! The room was large, immaculate, comfortable & quiet - just what we needed after being up most of 48...

This restaurant is a part of the family owned pension. It is easy to reach it by tram or metro from the center of Prague and you will find yourself at the historical building at the quiet place with a nice park around. It gives you very welcome feeling and perfect dinner as well. Very knowledgeable waiter, friendly ambience. They...

The most striking thing in my mind is how friendly and welcoming this family are. They simply go out of they way to accommodate you. This property is like an oasis with a wonderful old building placed in lovely gardens surrounded by high walls.

My sister, cousin and I were booked to stay here only 2 nights and had to extend so we could enjoy some time at the property. Our hostess, Blanca is wonderful, giving directions to the metro and even selling us the tickets that we need. Breakfast includes granola, yogurt, croissants, coffee, juice, and a choice of cooked eggs. We also...

This pension/hotel is about 15 minutes by tram from the center of the city. The new Metro stop is also a short walk. The neighborhood is pleasant with several cafes, shops, banks, a post office, etc. The hotel itself is very lovely. There is a wonderful outdoor patio for dining and drinking, as well as their indoor dining room. The...
