Wow! We stayed at the hotel December 18th-22ed 2017 (room 104) with 2 kids and 1 baby. The suite, which has 2 rooms and a kitchen (with tools, stove, fridge with a mini bar! and even a dishwasher!!!) was very big. The kids' room had...More

Truly enjoyed the convenience of the stay. Only concern is there is only person during check in and check out time. The lady at the desk is extremely efficient and genuinely cares, but is clearly overwhelmed. It would be prudent to have additional support personnel...More

Highly recommend this place. It's at a great location and the room is large and spacious. Breakfast is really good as well. The staff is very nice. The room is fully stocked with snacks and refreshments which are available at a small price if needed.

A good sleep, proper breakfast, great location slightly away from the noisy centre, but still within walkable distance to all the attractions. A big +++ to the reception staff for helpfulness and for being always ready.More

Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town

or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

I never actually pulled out the bed but we did notice that there was a pull-out sofa bed in the living room. I believe that it looked full size. Also we were able to adjust the temperature in the living/dining room with no problem - there was a separate air conditioner unit positioned over the door of the dining room to control that area. We had no problem with temperature overall. I would agree with the other comment that says it can sleep 6.
I would also say that the staff was extremely receptive to my many many emails about the area, amenities, and more. They must have sent me a dozen emails before it was all over. So if you need something, just ask them about it and they'll see what they can do.
Also I politely offer my differing opinion to the person who thought the property was cheap. It seemed older - as does everything in a very historic part of town. I thought the furniture was just fine and really enjoyed the meals. They also had a high-chair for breakfast with our toddler, which was really helpful. The lift is annoying - although it's also typical and even a luxury based on the area/historical nature of the buildings. It's slow and small.
Hotel will arrange transportation for you. Might be free, depending on how many nights you stay. If there's a cost, it shouldn't cost more than 20-25 pounds.

The hotel does not offer a shuttle service. They will arrange for a taxi to take you to the train station. My wife and I are in our 70s and are used to this kind of issues related to travel, etc. We never had any concerns about our safety and we walk between 4 and 6 hours everyday to different places in the city. BTW, there is a restaurant about 8 or 10 doors down from the hotel. It was good local food and very tasty. Their mashed potatoes with bacon and caramelized onions is great. Their ribs terrific. Not like you get in the states but very good. I'm sure whoever is at the desk can give you the name of the restaurant. We sat outside. Prices are great. Have a great time.
