AVOID! The hotel is very poor not even 1 star in normal standards. Breakfast didnt have a single piece of vegetables and I found waitresses hair in my food. However the worst thing was that the HEATING DIDNT WORK in my room (with -4 outside). Day receptionist (that was really friendly) gave me an external heating but it didnt really...

My first impression of the hotel from the reception area was that it looked a bit tired and shabby but I was not disappointed by the room, staff or facilities. The room was clean and comfortable with a fridge, microwave and lots of hot water. The breakfast was plentiful with a good selection of traditional and local food and very...

The rooms are spacious but the breakfast area is small and sometimes full (you have to wait). The reception staff is helpful and polite. The location is a bit far from the center. Just outside the hotel is a tram stop. The old town is four stops away and the main train station two.

My wife and I decided to go to Prague with rather a short notice and were planning on a long stay (20 nights) so we needed something nice but cheap. Golden City is exactly that. Sure, the hotel could do with a little maintenence but the room was clean, had a good if small frigde and we had a good...

Arrived for a 3 night visit and lasted only one night staying in this horrible place. It's very old and run down, not as shown in the photos and in a terrible neighbourhood with strip clubs on the corner and what seemed like drug deals on the street. Woken several times during the night with people yelling. And the bed...

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was. The rooms are small and simple but there was a small entry way with a closet and it made the room feel larger. The 42 euro a night included a nice European breakfast. The room curtains failed the first night and they were promptly replaced the next day. There is...

(+) Spacious room for 3 people, comfortable beds, very nice location with tram stop just outside the hotel, free ample breakfast, stuff was very polite (-) Old building, a bit torn out. The bathroom door was covered in see-through glass!!! Only instant coffee at breakfast. Very early check-out (10:00) Hard to find a parking spot around the hotel.

Actually I was living in Hotel Residence Tabor opposite the main Hotel. The apartment was to the back and in the 5th floor and very silent. It had microwave and a water cooker and Satelite TV. The Breakfast was included and very good. I can recommend this place and would stay there again. Good bargain!

Position: Excellent. Tram stop is 20 meters away. Tram runs every 5 minutes. In 10 minutes you reach the main attractions. Room: Single room at 4th floor. Sloping roof. I couldn't stand in half the room. Windows with very tiny and bright curtains. As the sun rises it becomes difficult to sleep. Being under the roof, room was too hot,...
