We reserved two rooms for our March 29th through April 2nd (4 night) stay in Prague at Hotel Atos. I was nervous about our rooms not being available for us once we arrived due to other reviews on this site so I confirmed with them and then re-confirmed again right before we left. We arrived into Prague late at night...

We stayed at the Atos Hotel from 17/3/08 until 21/3/08.Hotel was nice and warm which was very welcome as there were quite a few snow showers when we were in Prague. All the main tourist sites were in easy walking distance. Some reviewers have mentioned the crowded Breakfast room, but if you went to the second Breakfast room there was plenty of room.Plenty...

We have visited this hotel twice now and it would certainly be our first choice should we decide to visit Prague again. The rooms are very clean, with fresh towels and bed linen provided daily. Breakfast is pretty basic, but in abundance and of good quality. I have visited Prague on a number of occasions and can honestly say, for...

We stayed at the City Partner Hotel Atos from the 11th Jan- 14th Jan 2008 a very comfortable 3* accomdation. 30 min walk from the metro station and a 15 min walk from Charles Bridge. We found it value for money and easy to find from the airport. When you arrive at the airport outside the arrivals entrance is a...

The reception staff were truly excellent. They let us check our email, when a hotel pick up for an excursion didn't turn up. Printed out the relevent emails and rang the company for us. They also found a Prague inn mentioned in the book "Night Watch" for our teenage son. The excursion was to Kutna Hora, quite spooky bone chapel...

Nice ,clean, comfortable hotel, reasonably priced, ideally situated in the "little quarter" of prague close to the castle and the charles bridge. Staff efficient without being especially friendly. Standard buffet breakfast fare. Hotel location, best asset.

I stayed at the Atos for one night at the end of November. It’s a good hotel & has all you would expect of 3 Star Hotel. The best thing about the Hotel is its position, situated halfway between Mala Strana & Smichov. It is also only a five minute tram ride (or fifteen minute walk) from the Old Town....

Stayed on the 26th Nov - 29th Nov 07. Nice hotel in a good area. Bit of a walk to Charles Bridge and the Old Town but you can get the trams just outside the hotel. We ordered a taxi online for a return journey and it took about 25 mins roughly. Arrived at 9.30pm so hoped they had a...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
