Built on top of a club, the first room were I stayed was ridiculously noisy, both because of the music from downstairs ( until3 on Monday evening) and the heating pipe right outside the window- super noisy as well. After protesting with the reception guy, I got moved in a marginally better room. Considering that somewhere in the website they...

I booked a room for 2 for August already in January, and - although not selecting this option - they immediately charged the money from my debit card. I thought it was some kind of security step... well, it wasn't. After some research and after paying more attention on the details and the opinions, I realized what a bad choice...

Although the rooms were clean and the bed really comfy it was like something from The Adams family! It was NOT what I was expecting! The lift said it took 3...I worried about it taking 1, the jacuzzi in the corner of the room was a hysterically funny added feature, the toilets took some finding in the warren like corridors...

We stayed here in October 2011 because we got a really good deal. I read other reviewiers reviews, and was apprehensive. There was no need to be. The rooms were basic, but fine...I went to Prague to see Prague, not to watch tv in the hotel. It is certainly nowhere the center of Prague, but we drove to the Opatov...

Recently got back from a 4 night stay at the Club Hotel Praha, there is nothing bad I can say about the hotel itself, only that it is a long way from the centre of Prague, so not an ideal base to visit Prague. The hotel room was clean and basic, certainly not 4 star by UK standards, but the...

I stayed at this hotel at the recommendation of a friend for three nights. The facilities were ok, especially the sports facilities. However, on my last day there I had a number of things stolen directly from my room - a laptop, camera, ipod, laptop bag with documents, keys, sim card, chargers, etc. The hotel offered no help even though...

This was actually a business trip. I stayed for three nights at this hotel. The hotel is in a very good spot, only about fifteen minutes from Old Town Square which is amazing. Great location in the pleasant enviroment. Good price. I also found there a great restaurant called Czech Cottage which is situated near by the hotel. The people...

This hotel is located next to the D1 highway (to Prague City) and quite a distance from Prague City Centre itself. It is not close to convenience stores/pubs or restaurants. In fact, I believe Club Hotel is actually more a Recreational Club with a Sports Centre (pool, bowling, tennis, squash etc) catering probably in it's heydays to the rich folks...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
