The hotel is located slightly outside the tourist area, just a couple of underground stops from the National Museum and only 15 minutes' walk from that monument. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The bathroom is fine, also very well cleaned but some more light above the mirror would be welcome. Also, whilst the trend is more for parquet...

Extremely pleased we booked into Louren Hotel. We can only agree with what other reviewers have written. The hotel more than met our expectations and needs. Staff were very friendly, polite and efficient. All our rooms were large, well appointed and spotless clean. Far better than we have had in other European cities. Breakfast was fine. We loved the brown...

Louren Hotel is well situated in Vinohrady ( Royal Vineyards, planted by Charles IV in the 14th C.), which is a neighbourhood not far from the Old Town, the railroad station and the fabulous State Opera. It is sophisticated and hip, with Secessionist and Art Nouveau buildings. The hotel provides a handout with suggestions of where to go to eat...

The room was comfortable; the staff outstanding; the breakfast the best we've ever had in a hotel in Europe. The location is OK; it's a 4 stop tram ride to 'downtown', otherwise, easy to get around in a quiet residential area. Whomever was at the desk went out of their way to explain and help in directions, suggestions and general...

Very well run, with excellent included breakfast. My room was large, air conditioned, (and it was much needed), with ample closet space and excellent bathroom. Don't know if all rooms are that good. Location worked well with about 7 minute walk time to Metro and half that to parallel avenues with streetcar lines on both sides. Transit passes available at...

Staying in Vinohrady & Vrsovice

Neighbourhood Profile
Vinohrady & Vrsovice
Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this neighbourhood standing on former vineyards developed very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century. Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live, and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars, cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy shops, it is a home for people from all around the world. This area blends expats, families, bohemian students and Prague’s hip community. It is a great place for breakfast in the morning, the best lunch places and a buzzing night life. After sundown, stroll down to Vršovice, the new center of the hipster, alternative and gay scenes in Prague.
