Stayed 3 nights recently. Excellent location in the Old Town Square. Rooftop bar is worth a visit and the ground floor bar is good too. Nice old world atmosphere. Use the stairs as you'll grow old waiting for the lift !

We ate here on our last night in Prague. Waiting staff were very rude and quite standoffish. I ordered the strips of sirloin steak burger and couldn't eat it. The steak was freezing cold, I mean as if removed from the fridge and slapped on a bun. I've had better in a famous burger chain and in fact had to...

A truly wonderful situation in the main square with a rooftop bar overlooking the Astrological Clock. You can't wish for a better place from which to explore Prague. We had a large room with mezzanine bed and a sitting area, which was wonderful. The hidden gem is the basement bar which, in the evenings, has a good pianist and a...

Hotel U Prince's rooftop bar is absolutely stunning. Right in the center of Prague and with really reasonable drink and food prices. You absolutely must go here if you're looking for a nice place to relax with great views of the city.

I had saw this hotel on travel blog and wanted to at least have drink here. We ate at the outside restaurant downstairs and it was amazing. We had great service that was attentive and quick which matched our American eating style. They made me a wonderful stoli mule and my husband had a beer. We started off with the...

We were recommended to go to the terrace for a coffee and it was well worth the over priced latte. The view is beautiful. Don't expect to linger though, the staff are keen to move you on when they realise you only want a drink! Well worth a trip.

We Went there in 2015 and twice to the restaurant for a meal and few drinks, it is well placed hotel in the city centre opposite to the astronomical clock and has a nice ambience. Good service, they have a photographer who comes and clicks a picture if you want as a souvenir.

The rooftop bar on top of this hotel is not to be missed!! Either daytime or night it is fantastic. Panoramic views of the Old Town Square and Prague in general! Slightly more expensive but absolutely worth it! The food is delicious and you cannot beat the view.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
