We have just returned from 4 nights at Bishops House Hotel. We loved it. Above all the staff were the most helpful friendly and charming, making us feel they really cared and we felt very relaxed and at home. The room was stylish with modern fittings and bathroom all spotlessly clean but with characterful features such as a spiral staircase...

Bishops house is in a fantastic location right at the foot of the Charles Bridge. The staff were brilliant. They arranged a private pick up for us from the train station and Jan was very helpful at check in. We stayed on the fourth floor which seems to be a converted attic. Looking at other pictures of Trio Advisor I...

Excellent location, dynamic and friendly service, including from Mr. Marek, who speaks fluent Spanish. Very good price and an enjoyable mix of old world charm with a modern and comfortable room. Adequate breakfast too, and available coffee, cappucino, etc. Great option.

Stayed in room T4, 50 steps to heaven! Hotel is in a quiet cul de sac, though just a stones throw from Charles Bridge. Buffet breakfast is very good so well prepared for all the walking (and running! ) exploring this lovely city.

The reviews are pretty much spot on for this one. Very good boutique hotel in an excellent situation. The guys at the front desk are very helpful and all the staff very welcoming. Clean and comfortable. It's a boutique hotel so don't expect it to be like a big international chain. On the other hand, the personal touch makes a...

Stayed here for a couple of nights and loved it. We couldn't fault the hotel, everything was just right, clean, comfortable and the staff are so nice. The location is great. If we ever make it back to Prague, this is where we'll be staying. Can't recommend it highly enough, you won't find anything better.

We stayed for 4 nights. Customer service was excellent and staff were very helpful, and the rooms cleaned to a high standard. Breakfast has a good selection and is restocked regularly. The location is ideal and central to everything which was great, particularly as we like walking alot. The only downside about the hotel is that noise carries from the...

There is really nothing negative to say about this hotel. Great location a minute away from Charles Bridge and all the bars and restaurants in the lesser town. Beautifully renovated, the perfect blend or history and modern amenities. We had T4 room made up for 4 people, simply stunning and even a prayer room if we were feeling repentant!! Coffee...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
