We spent four days (three nights) in this small, charming hotel situated beneath Prague castle: had a "Romantic Prague" package found and booked on the hotel website. Package included 2 nights with a special price for 3rd night in deluxe room, gourmet breakfast, private access to the spa (60 min), romantic Cruise "Prague Venice" (45 min), one 5-course degustation dinner...

This hotel made my trip to Prague 'magical'. This 5 star hotel offers possibly the best service and personally I would like to mention that Alena, Pavel and Martin were amongst those who did make my trip as such. The breakfast was really good, as well as the housekeeping. The rooms were also beautifully decorated. So, long story short, this...

We have stayed there for 3 nights in August, a family of 3 (2 adults + 1 child). The hotel is very conveniently located at the bottom of the old stairs leading to the Castle. By foot, 10 minutes to old town and 15 to new town. No need to use ANY public transportation. We booked a standard room but...

We stayed at the Hotel Hoffmeister July 27-30, 2014. From the moment we arrived the staff anticipated our needs and wants. Our group of six was greeted with wine before being settled into lovely rooms. (The Jacuzzis were especially nice after long days of walking.) Breakfast was a great way to start the day - the hostess always met us...

Starting from the meeting the guests. I liked glass of vine in the terrace, while we waited check in.Fruit basket waited in the...

We were traveling with a party of 6 and we all loved the Hotel Hoffmeister! The location is perfect, the rooms are very comfortable, the included breakfast is lovely, but the attentive staff is what made this place stand out. They were so helpful and were willing to do what it took to make us happy. For example, we had...

I really wanted to give a higher overall rating, the hotel is nice, great location for reaching by train from central station or airport, friendly and accommodating staff with most of the trappings one would expect, although not quite a 5 Star property in my estimation. WE had a Junior Suite, very spacious and clean, could use a little updating...

A great hotel with good value for money in a very central location for both the city and the castle. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Easy connections to the airport. Would definitely stay here again on next trip.

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
