The hotel reception was friendly and efficient. No request was too much for these friendly people. The room was on the seventh floor, very clean and ooooh so light! The breakfast was the best we have had! We will return... soon! Many extras were available when booking online, they even offered a packed breakfast when we needed to leave early....

A long weekend spent @ Hotel Josef with excellent service and relaxed and enjoyable stay. The room was in very good condition with very good beds and needed fascillities. The location was in the city center with walking distance to shopping, dinning, theaters and attractions.

My colleague recommended Hotel Josef for my personal trip to Prague and I absolutely love it! The location is excellent, it is a 5-10mins walk to Old Town Square, Powder Tower and Municipal House. I stayed at both the rooms in the Pink and Orange house. WIFI was great and I love the minimalistic and modern design of the rooms....

Hotel Josef is simply excellent choice if you want to stay in the center of Prague for couple of days. There is nothing I can complain about, my room was perfectly clean with comfortable chair, so I could work at computer. WIFI was working great whole time. And breakfest? This was by far one of the best hotels we've experienced in 20 years of traveling to Europe. Prices are mid-range -- very reasonable compared to larger European cities. The room was hip and fun. Breakfast was an amazing spread. Service was truly wonderful -- they could give lessons in how to make guests feel welcome. And just a few...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
