Good location, close to all major sites in Josefov and Stare Mesto (you don`t need a car!) . The Hotel is stylish, our room was large enough (Glass superior) and we even had a little balcony (7th floor). Bed was superb, everything was clean. The breakfast is outstanding, probably the best breakfast we ever had in a hotel. The staff...

Nice style of hotel, modern, stylish and in a perfect location. Really super breakfast and lovely service in the morning in the breakfast room. A few niggles: I had to ask twice to get our room set for two people rather than one, the towels are very thin and worn and our first set had holes in them and the...

I stayed at hotel Josef with my wife and friends during a 3 day visit to Prague. The hotel is situated about 5 min walk from the square but is located in an area which has good quality restaurants and cocktail bars within a few minutes walk. The staff were really friendly and provided recommendations where to enjoy a good...

I travel alot, and this hotel has the things i love in a hotel. Excellent clean well-designed room, long hours for breakfast, superb staff and perfect location. No sense of stuffiness. Gorgeous bathroom. The hotel arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airpot. All very hassle-free and helpful.

I was recently in Prague for a week on business. I spent 5 nights at Hotel Josef, and enjoyed it. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly, and all spoke excellent English. There are two towers of rooms. I was in the one near the breakfast room, I can't remember if it was the pink or orange tower....

My husband recently took me to Prague for a special birthday, and we took the recommendation of staying at this hotel from a colleague from work. I have to say I cannot say enough good things about Hotel Josef. The location is so central that you can walk pretty well anywhere. The hotel itself is very modern, designer and immaculate....

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
