A great boutique hotel in a great location in Prague 1. This is the second time we've stayed at Unitas, and we just love it! The Staff are kind and friendly, and the rooms, while simple, are very comfortable. Breakfast is also excellent, with a wide assortment of cheeses, meats, fruit and drinks. Will definitely stay herewhen we visit Prague...

Best thing about Unitas is its position on a very quiet street, yet only 1 block away from lots of restaurants, beer halls, and the main avenue (Narodni Trida) with stores, restaurants and the National Theater (Opera House).Just far enough away (7" walk) from the tacky tourism that assaults the senses as you get closer to the main square. Hotel...

Prague is small enough to walk around and this hotel is in a good spot to start any trips around the city. The staff were young, friendly, helpful & all spoke good English (my Czech is terrible). The rooms were big, spacious & warm (actually the air in the room was a bit dry; the heating was battling minus 10...

This hotel offers a great location in the middle of the city. It is across the street from the police station but we never heard any noise from that at all. In fact, it was a very quiet area. Great cocktail bar down the street too. The room was large which was surprising for a European city. All of the...

Hotel Unitas is on a small street (is there any other kind?) It's quite large, actually. I stayed on the first floor and it was perfectly quiet. The breakfast was excellent. Everything about the hotel was excellent, except I kept getting lost! Not their fault! I'd go back to the hotel and Prague in an instant.

Pros: The staff were friendly and very helpful. Little things about the whole stay like a welcome glass of wine when we arrived, the fact the my partners birthday was noted when we booked in and on the morning of her Birthday she was presented with a Happy Birthday from staff and more free wine :) little plates of cakes...

Absolutely phenomenal hotel. Extraordinarily clean, quiet and unique hotel. Large room and bathroom, very comfortable for two backpacking adults. Ceiling to floor windows, impeccable clean linens. We travel through Europe frequently and this hotel blew us away and cannot wait to return to Prague and stay here again!

Our concern: Our concern that we hope management will consider is the Fire Safety- a room key required to exit room- this is against the fire code in our country (Canada) as the door should allow easy egress by the guest, without requiring a key for exit in an emergency situation for example a fire. This is not only inconvenient,...

Located in an old convent on a quiet street in the heart of the old town, this hotel is a short walk from many attractions. You are very cordially greeted on arrival and treated to a glass of champagne. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and will recommend you nice places to eat and visit. On every floor there...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
