The Unitas hotel is a very nice and quiet hotel. It is placed very close to the old town, (2-3 min) but not in the middle of the noisy area.. Big advantage. The room is big comparing to other hotels with the same rates.

We stayed for 3 nights in February and had a great stay. Hotel is ideally located on edge of old town, Charles Bridge 5 mins walk, Castle 30 mins (it is up a hill!) and all the fun to explore old streets are all right there. Fascinating history to the building and fortunately the serenity of its former role as...

This is a great hotel within the old town area of the city. The rooms are huge, the showers are powerful and the staff are really helpful and pleasant. The breakfast is included in the room price and there is a wide range available. You can order omelette, crepes, ham and eggs or boiled egg from the kitchen and choose...

This is a very clean and welcoming hotel that is centrally located with a delicious and expansive breakfast. The rooms are HUGE even by american standards, Staff are very helpful and it is very quiet. There is even a great play nook for kids. A former home for nuns, the hotel is lovely. Great location, good breakfast, just a terrific place. Enjoyed my time there very much. They were helpful when I needed to find a place, get a cab, whatever.

What a find....such a lovely hotel in a great position would definitely stay here if we came to Prague again. Hotel with history...enormous rooms with quality furnishings, breakfast buffet excellent with made to order omelette and crepes if desired. A welcome drink on arrival, canapés in the late afternoon. This hotel knows how to look after its guests.

The hotel is great! It's affordable but luxurious. The room that we got was surprisingly big, and everything was clean. The location is very good, near to the old city center and metro station. Service was very friendly, and breakfast was good!

After our first visit in 2014 we had very good experience with the Unitas hotel, so when we planned our trip to Prague there was absolutely no doubt: we book Unitas Hotel aigain. We booked the superior room and asked for the same room, which was taking care of. The room is a very good size, tranquil with a very...

Beautiful hotel, excellent service, great breakfast, nice rooms. They received us with a glass of sparkling wine and gave us excellent advice about transportation one tours, also arranged a full day tour four us. The hotel is full of complementary tee corners and other great details that make for a very nice and cozy experience.

Located in the heart of the old city, this hotel was still very quiet for all the nightlife that surrounds it. (Might be because it's located across the street from the Prague police department!). Staff was wonderful. Very helpful and polite. The rooms were immaculately clean, modern, and spacious. Great location, as it is close to a lot of the...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
