Romantic hotel Red Lion is located in an historic burgher house from the 15th century in the very centre of Prague. It lies directly on the Royal Route, only 400 metres from the Prague Castle and 500 metres from the Charles Bridge. All rooms have an enchanting view of Petrin, the Royal Route and the roofs of Mala Strana (Lesser Side) underneath the Prague Castle. They are equipped with historical furniture. In some rooms you will find the original painted wooden ceilings dating back to the 17th century. Hotel guests can enjoy lunches in the hotel restaurant with remarkable renaissance ceilings. The restaurant serves traditional Czech as well as international cuisine. Breakfast is served in the form of rich hot buffet. The pub U Cerveneho Lva invites you for a glass of wine or Pilsner beer. Its centuries old stone walls provide cool refuge from the heat in the summer, which makes the pub a perfect oasis to relax in. The bar, which dates back to 1350, is located in a lime stone cellar with Gothic vaulted ceilings. It serves a variety of hot and cold drinks. The pleasant atmosphere of the hotel patio invites our guests to relax. A limited number of parking places is available directly in front of the hotel. You can use free Internet spot in the lobby.

Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.

The red lion offered lovely, clean, warm rooms and have an excellent level service as well as being near the centre of town. Had the goulash and the duck dishes in the restaurant and they were delicious. Inclusive breakfast had plenty of choice and was available until 10am.

Quaint little hotel in a cobbled street just below Prague Castle. Spotlessly clean, well appointed room. Lovely breakfast buffet included in price. Reception is managed by another sister hotel just a few doors up the road which is slightly odd, but staff are charming and helpful

Do you speak italian? Is it possible to pay with cash?
Dear Sirs, thank you for your enquiry. Speaking Italian is unfortunately not our forté, however I can honestly promise you that we will all do our best for your great holiday in our amazing city! As for paying by cash, it depends on the type of your reservation. In other words, if the reservation would suppose to be paid in the hotel, then yes, you can pay either by cash or by credit card, no problem. If it would be a non-refundable, advance purchase reservation, then it would have to be paid by your credit card. Thank you again, I wish you a pleasant journey to Prague! E.Aljanabi, QC Manager
