This hotel is in a perfect location, it is within walking distance to all the major sights. There is a fabulous grocery store minutes away (Belli) that has anything and everything you could possibly need at a very reasonable (cheap) price. The hotel itself has a nice lobby area and bar. The staff are friendly for the most part, and...

The best welcome and Bell Captain in 100 plus hotels. Martin was the best! Great Executive room with friendly staff. Great landmarks nearby. Fun place to visit. Walk to the Charles bridge! Front desk staff friendly and really wanted to help!

Excellent breakfast. Adequate amenities. Very clean. Very good value for money, especially for a Marriott. We had one of our best family holidays. The hotel is not at the very center of the city, but it is close to the metro and tram.

My wife and I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and were hugely pleased to discover that the hotel was only a short walking distance from the old city square. Given the excellent location, walking and enjoying Prague's old city was very easy and convenient. Hotel staff at the reception were very helpful to guide us through in picking...

Prague Marriott is a short walking distance from everything in old town Prague. Jewish quarter, shopping streets and many malls, public transportation, Vltava and the Prague castle are a 15-20min walk away. Old Town Square is just minutes away, and you'll walk through some lovely old streets and run into all kinds of sights worth seeing. Not so easy to...

My Husband and I have just come back from this fantastic hotel, we were also there for a week in November 14. On this occasion we where surprised when we checked in with a free room upgrade, which was amazing but not something we would ever expect again. Everything about this hotel is brilliant, the food is of a very...

Typical Marriott hotel in a great location near to the main attractions of Prague. Located in the Old Town and near a shopping centre. The rooms were a good size and very clean. The bar area and restaurant were spacious. The breakfast was in addition to the room rate and there was a good choice. A good hotel providing a...

We stayed here for three nights and loved the location, next to the train station and close to all attractions of old and new town. The beds and pillows were better than any of the Marriotts that we have stayed at and that is many. If you don't have the free breakfast you will have to pay an outrageous amount...

This is a typical high end Marriott in a very good location. Service was generally good and 24 hour room service is a plus as I arrived late. The only reason I did not give the full five is because I was allocated a disabled room without being told at check in. This was changed when I complained and I...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
