We've just returned from our 5th stay in this lovely little hotel. The building is really unusual, each room different. The breakfast choices are amazing and the breakfast lady is so friendly. I It's like a little oasis a few minutes away from the main square!

Hotel Casa Marcello is a nice and clean hotel with a great location. The rooms are quite big, at least the one we got including the one a couple of friends got. The area is quiet so you can get a good night's sleep

We stayed here for 2 nights in mid April, we booked a package through EasyJet holidays. The hotel is located just a few minutes away from the Old Town square but tucked away in a side street so no noise or disruption. The building has historical importance but was still very modern inside. The rooms were comfortable and had everything...

We stayed there in June of 2016. This is a nice little hotel that we were told was a monastery in the 1300s. The first floor hallways to the back are all old rock walls. It's a neat little walk through a courtyard. Our room was clean, but we had a double bed that turned out to be 2 single...

We arrived at the Hotel Casa Marcello at 1AM (my daughter and I traveled through Eastern Europe for two weeks in Feb '17). Jan (pronounced Yan, I hope I spelled it correctly!) was waiting to greet us. He showed us to our room and was very helpful considering the time of night! Once we settled in, my daughter realized she...

This is a beautiful hotel with a quiet and relaxing atmosphere about it, despite its central location. Our room was a suite and was very large with a very comfortable king sized bed. It’s a few years since I last stayed at this hotel, and it’s as quirky, and in many ways charming, as ever. Its location is really great, on the edge of the Jewish Quarter, yet an easy 8-minute walk to the Old Town Square. The hotel is really quiet, too, away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
